Championship Sunderland ban vapes and coins for away fans

Not sure how stewards are going to confiscate coins and vapes from away fans.
If I go to a match, I normally have some cash and coins on me (cash only at the Blackbird), or to split a taxi fare. Are they really going to have everyone empty their pockets like an airport style security scan?
Also for smokers who have a vape, they are hardly going to throw it away before getting in the ground.
For people with cars and on coaches they could I suppose leave these items behind, but generally fans don't just go straight to the match, and prefer to socialise first, and smokers aren't going to be happy going several hours without.

Just wondering is Sunderland one of those cashless ( card only ) grounds ? . If not how do they go about giving you your change if your buying burger , hot dog , drinks etc

With modern electronics they could probably work that. Can I have £5 of Guinness and £5 of Birra Moretti please? Sure here’s 3/4 of a pint of Guinness and a half of Moretti.

Not sure how you’d get £5 of pie if they cost £4 each. A pie and a quarter?
