League Two S****horpe

Very true, although thankfully this season it looks like some proper clubs could be promoted. Stockport are pretty much there and Wrexham will at least be in the play offs along with Chesterfield, Grimsby, Notts County and to a slightly lesser extent, Halifax. Watch slippery and Solihull win the play offs now!

Prefer Chesterfield, Grimsby, Notts Co or Halifax over Wrexham Hollywood FC as the media coverage would make the Salford/Forest Green appear nothing but a passing interest!

Stockport have gone s**t or bust along with Wrexham, Chesterfield and a few others. Stockport, iirc are apparently paying Sarcevic similar or slightly more wages to what he was getting at Bolton so will be a good wage and on a longer contract. There are others as well at Stockport who are on big money, probably not much different from Wrexham.

Wrexham have over £1m+ on transfer fees alone if media reports are true. FL clubs couldn't compete with the wages offered to Mullin apparently and it was a 3 year contract. That said, they have started to click properly so will probably come up through the play offs and reasonably say it was worth it.

Stockport also have Madden, Fleetwoods best player and apparently he receives more there than some L1 clubs could afford

Ryan Reynolds earns $20m a movie nowadays.
If they want to sign some star lower league striker, he just needs to mail it in for some crappy Netflix action movie, and funnel 10% of his fee to the Racecourse ground!

It's a shame to see Scunthorpe & Oldham go. That's almost 190 football league seasons between the two of them.
But as long as Solihull don't win the playoffs, it at least looks like they'll be replaced by a couple of traditional football league clubs.

Meanwhile, Forest Green have all but mathematically guaranteed themselves promotion today. I thought we were done with trips to Nailsworth when we escaped the Conference!

Still doesn't change that it is ridiculous that a NL club is spending £1m+ on transfer wages and paying L1 wages. Not dissimilar to Stockport and other SOB clubs either. The NL is utterly ridiculous in its spending this year compared to previous years.

Also, make the most of going to Nailsworth as soon it'll be a road junction in the middle of nowhere for Forest Green.
