Protesters throw paint at Radcliffe Camera

Environmental activist group Just Stop Oil has thrown its signature orange paint at the Radcliffe Camera today.

I have some sympathy with their aims (in that I think we have to greatly reduce fossil fuel use) - but this isn't the way to persuade anyone at all. It is just vandalism, and I hope that those doing it are a) made to clean all of it off no matter how long it takes b) punished accordingly and c) sent home so their mummies can give them a big smack bottom.
