General Commercial and Marketing

I can't believe the only t-shirts they've released are dark blue and white, Bolton Wanderers colours. Nothing yellow on there at all, that is p*ss poor.

Edit: Wonder if anyone would like to request a YELLOW t shirt from the "Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer", who appears to be Adam Benson.

Everything is so positive and a truly great time to be an Oxford fan yet to not just get a yellow shirt etc ready especially rubbing in it as white and blue will be the oppositions colours is a small blot on an otherwise wonderful crest of a wave.

IMO the Bensonator is an arrogant liability

I would say this about Adam - when I contacted him about the Billy Bodin video where BB talks about his autistic son and told him about my situation he couldn't have been more caring or helpful. I'm guessing he's a big cheese at the club but he really took the time and thought about things.

I love a wembley scarf so got a couple of those. (Not half and half obviously).

It wouldn't be Oxford United if there wasn't something for some people to moan about in the biggest week of our season and and our future.

Just wear your yellow shirt! You have got a yellow shirt haven't you?
Hear hear!

I quite like the hats, can wear my shirt with the hat then.

Not everything has to be linked. This is the commercial marketing thread, if Bodin scores a wonder volley it shouldn't make any difference to discussions on how the commercial side is going.

It's just a poor choice and poor decision to not have yellow shirts to create a sea of yellow like the 2010 final. Doesn't mean I can't still be excited about the stadium and playoff final in the other threads...

I will say it once again - where is the marketing of this game especially as the ticket sales seems to have slowed?

Nothing (as in posters) in any windows of any shops (like the Coventry game), nothing like an official merchandise pop up store in Westgate or similar especially with the decent weather we have been having and massive footfall in Oxford city centre.

I do find it so frustrating that people say to me that they probably have all of it covered? What with their hands over their eyes!

Sorry for being a miserable ol' buzzard.

And if you read OUSP's latest minutes, a certain Adam Benson is claiming the credit for setting up the club's recent pop up stall in John Lewis.

I think we both know differently mate.............................

I did post on April 18th regarding yellow tea shirts ranging from £5 to £10 to create a sea of yellow, this would have been for the play off games and future league games, if it was taken up that would have looked impressive, too late now

Marketing is mostly online thru website/email or digital media these days and of which there has been a huge amount-most "visibility"is like this-I know as I market something much smaller and any local news media is on fb pages or twitX/insta etc. Pop up relies on there being a suitable between leases site should imagine-again the online shop will be the place to start.
