also realising that if the border hadn't actually been opened then it would be obvious that the numbers couldn't be going down.

I see Johnson is about to appoint Paul Dacre as head of Ofcom. What with GB news about to launch, the right's shaping of this country's media into US style Fox News type B*****s is almost complete. Yay.

I think the bloke who went to Cambridge is quoting from another post (a bloke who went to Oxford and met both Cameron and Johnson), and saying it's a good job he *didn't* meet Johnson or it would have put him off.

Not to say it isn't possibly rubbish though!

it is a person who went to Cambridge posting screenshots of a person that went to Oxford and saying if he had met someone like BoJo at interview stage at Cambridge (the person quoted was going to Oxford to attend interview, staying in college before interview is fairly common) then he wouldn't have gone to Cambridge.
The quoted post could have been made up, but tbh it matches a lot of other feedback about his time at Oxford.
