Kind of obvious how that match panned out.

Struggle against teams that park the bus

Goodrham x3 and Harris lost us that by not taking their pretty easy chances

Mcguane is soon slow and negative.

How many yellows did lincoln get? Sods law that one of our few fouls gave them the win.

All our possession was at the back again. They nullified us up front with hard work.

Definitely a lot of s4it houser going on but they did there thing and did it well.
Don't think Gregly had one of his finest games, looked lethargic and a lot of missed place passes.
Still... on to Friday, I still have the faith!! 💪

Murphy tried to do too much and they doubled up on him. Lacking in ideas on the rest of the pitch. Lincoln were poor but we didn't do enough to get back in it.

Against cloggers like that we really miss Moore, especially attacking set pieces. Few off the pace today, wide players especially so. Harris barely had a kick second half.

We go again on Friday.
Against another side who practice the dark arts even though they are not really in the race any more so doesn't bode well

Even though he is now getting on wouldn't it have made more sense to have a wise old head like Henry to bring off the bench for the last 15 minutes or so rather than both Smyth and McGuane - we didn't even use the forner as our fifth sub

Inexperienced Des v Bloody Evans 😱

Very concerning lack of any plan B. When our wingers don’t perform, we’re not very good.

That said, we really could have done without the merry go round of subs second half. Des has on occasion been good at this aspect - not today. Taking our main goal threat (Goodrham) off…why?

Couldn’t afford not to take our chances tonight. Goodrham should have had two and Harris should have scored before half time.

As soon as they scored, they shut the game down horribly but effectively. Awful to watch but got the result they wanted.

Lack of quality in the final third cost us there. But little point analyzing - we just need to win two more games of football.

Mcguane is soon slow and negative.

95th minute, he gets the ball with space to drive into......and he turns around to go backwards and almost runs into their striker.

In a nutshell why he doesn't fit Des' style, why we've been better since he was dropped, and why we shouldn't be triggering his extension at season's end, and instead be looking for someone better for this system.

Not if Henry is coming on with a walking stick from the park bench instead of ours

Disappointing but typical of us, we just don’t help ourselves.
Struggle to breakdown sides who are set up to frustrate don’t make mistakes.
Front 5 struggled without Murphy carrying them.
Harris struggled, Rodrigues playing for himself tonight. And Dale may work hard but control and just runs up his own backside.
As for set pieces and deliver into the box, as bad as it’s been all season. Keeper had a field day, with the help we gave him.

Could see the way the game was going to go, after the first five minutes.
Simply not good enough..
Lincoln sussed us out.
P,S Lincoln not that good either . Just stopped us,from playing our game like on Saturday
Poor.... need to shape up on Friday..

Gutted to give points to a play off rival.

Got the feeling before the goal that the Oxford players were a bit guilty of being spoiled from the last 3 games, and being sloppy with passes.
Once Lincoln scored they were horrible little imps.
Ref was shitand easily conned.

We're still in 6th. The play offs are ours if we can win the next 2 games.
