Ex-Staff Chris Williams Leaves

So far under Timmy they have managed to see off the following long serving staff:

- Head groundsman
- Accountant
- 2 fans who were raising money for the clubs charity.
- Head of communication (the irony)

I can see things turning toxic very quickly if questions aren’t answered at this fans forum.

For me Tim Williams is doing his best as an accountant put into a more public eye role and relying on others to help him.
Grant is a baffling choice as out of the Country like the owners are , bizarre.
Benson for me is relied on by Tim but is toxic by what I understand by his treatment of Michael North and Sue .
Not issuing the programme v Chelsea kids as Manning had left was petulant and embarrassing I thought .

The poll from this thread back in Feb has been reset:

Why does there always have to be a negative with someone leaving ? An employee can leave 🤷‍♂️ for pastures new or an employer has a right to evolve a business and freshen things up. Big clubs in the PL have huge staff turnovers. Do they employ the same people for 30, 35, 40 years ? CW has been a great club servant - like many others - but things change. Move on.

Because they’re not leaving the club on good terms clearly.

Do those staff that leave usually make a not so subtle dig at senior staff members that a whole fan base can see?

If you can’t see the issues around how this has been handled then I think you need to open your eyes.

Sod ' big soulless clubs in the PL ' all that's wrong with modern football an absolute lack of loyalty.
Nothing to be applauded in my eyes.

Evening Tim.

Why no mention in your story on the OWS, yet the refs last game is? 😉

Enlighten me.

You may have a point and I may be missing it but can you point out where there’s clearly evidence that he’s parting ways on bad terms. I’m not trying to be contrary, I’m just interested as to where it’s clear this is not an amicable departure.

The dig in his notes + the one or two sly comments by friends of his on here & over socials.

Seems he’s not the only one who’s leaving on poor terms.

Best of luck to Chris, a proper servant and a die hard fan who's worked under Kassam but apparently now is the time he feels he has to leave and his comments are a pretty big clue as to why. If that's not ringing alarm bells I don't know what will.

Tim Williams program notes seemed deliberately petty to (incorrectly) mention the ref's last game and make no mention of Chris. At least he used the rest of them to have a go at the fans for not providing the atmosphere he wants after he's spent his tenure showing utter contempt for them, it'll be interesting to see if he keeps writing them.

The bit he wrote about looking forward to return "as a customer" is a pretty big clue if you've been paying attention. If it's amicable he wouldn't put that dig in.
