New Stadium Plans - The Triangle - Planning

Suzanne McIvor is blatantly wrong here and there is no chance that coaches will be parking on Frieze Way. As others have said, it’s not a place for parking any vehicle and would contravene the Highway Code.

But if there is only room for two coaches for the away team which would be for their players and officials in the main car park, where will away fan coaches park? Does Parkway have provision for this or will some spaces there be repurposed to do so?

(Sorry. Don’t have the plans to hand so I daresay it’s in amongst those pages somewhere.)
I would imagine away supporters coaches will drop off outside there turnstile and then go and park up at the services at pear tree so the driver can have a kfc 🤣🤣

But are those names from that or any other organisation allowed to object or support again as individuals?

Surely it distorts the figures?
Im not sure I know it's one objection per household I also know Chester won't object

It's not one response per household. Any individual of any age can comment. It woukd be great for local youth teams to write in too.
it would be 'handy' if Gosford All Blacks, Kidlington Cricket Club, Kidlington youth football club(s) & the Running club, all who are based at Stratfield Brake Sports Ground- and will significantly have the facilities they use improved should OUFC get the go ahead on the triangle- were to all ,as Clubs/ organisations, post comments of support on the CDC consultation... would be even handier if individual members of the aforementioned Kidlington based clubs were to also post comments of support there too

Have @OxVox and/or @OUSP any contacts with any of the Kidlington sports clubs who are based at SB sports ground?

I am finding the OS Explorer 180 :25,000 scale map for Oxford Witney and Woodstock very useful for looking at the surrounding area in detail. I have the 2003 original which is showing the old grain silo and no park and ride. I have just ordered the newest edition from 2015 which has a picture of punts on the front cover and can be bought quite cheaply on eBay.

Well done Janine for calling her out on this. Reasoned debate based on facts is absolutely right and proper but misleading statements presented as ‘fact’ need to be exposed and the originator asked to back up their statements with clear evidence. And then when they don’t/can’t, those requests for evidence need to be repeated.

New FoSB attack line appears to be "why are there only two coach spots at the stadium, where are the other coaches going to go?!??" In light of McIvor's idiotic comments on coaches parking up on Frieze Way
In the high sided vehicle spaces at Parkway. Share @Manorlounger 's picture with them. Will earn a few quid to the public purse too.

Kidlington didnt vote to not have a stadium- there was a low turnout poll as to whether KPC should or shouldn't support the stadium.... The OCC consultation was overwhelmingly in favour, The triangle is OCC land , not KPC land

And OUFC didn't choose to leave the current stadium. Firoka terminated the contract in 2021 during COVID as they were legally allowed to do.

On the bright side, the planning officer will also be aware of the falsehoods in this representation and will perhaps be less inclined to give weight to other (maybe valid) points raised by these parties.
