I don’t get it when fans say weak teams like this when the season has only just started. I actually thought Cambridge looked a good team and on that showing I wouldn’t consider them a relegation team, especially as a high number of their players made ours look ordinary.

I guess time will only tell!!
Yes agreed that's why I said, so called relegation team.. it's the so called expert pundits that's got them as relegation favourites.. yes ordinary player's hence why I was concerned about frees & loans..

Who's gonna buy ,the rubbish & crocks that Robinson paid & fortune for ,on fees & wasted contracts & wages
Oh I tell you what ,we'll give them away for free in the end. Now do people get my drift.....

It’s amazing that Cambridge could find a striker (Khadme -23) who gave our central defence (mainly Moore) a torrid time, put himself about, strong, knew the arts e.g. just putting enough on the defender to stop them from getting a clear clearance header/tackle, oh and scored!
A lot of people think we need far better than Moore in central defence.

Well quite, but that hasn't answered the question.
Well if that's the case, selling a player for cash to buy a new one.
That's not exactly top 30 club is it??.
Biggest war chest ever last season..
Plus the money we was prepared to pay Swansea, & Millwall for a couple of relatively unknown strikers , wasn't exactly chicken feed.

I've always been very pro Moore, but must admit I have my doubts after yesterday. Their centre forward (Khadme) was all over him. On the little we've seen of Negru, he's far more physical and would have dealt with Khadme far better. As would Findlay, actually!

Somethings got to be done about our abusive fans. The verbals Sam Long got was shocking - C words. F OFF etc. Young kids with families submitted to this. If nothing done there will be fighting between our own fans. For me, I don't want to hear it and if it carries on I'll stop going- must be others who feel the same?
Long serving local lad Sam Long was abused by our fans?? WTF? I just don’t understand fans abusing their own players, these guys should be your heroes.

Beadle made a really good save in the second half; Rodrigues is clearly an excellent playmaker who will come very very good; Mills looked dangerous. Them the positives.

We did that OUFC thing where we don't have a midfield. Pass the ball along the back until Long or Brown are pressured into making hopeful diagonals- which I don't think is their fault a lot of the time. The system demands them to be players they're not.

McGuane to start next game for me, he's unfortunate to lose his place.

I didn't think GOD did anything wrong- some tidy moments.

We'll be fine and it'll end up being a good season. There wasn't enough movement in the final third but it'll come together.

s**t football in the sideways rain. And I couldn't have been happier. Thank f**k it's back!

I understand what you’re saying.

I’m saying your thinking is completely baseless and the attitude harms our club.

If you buy a sausage roll from Greggs, does it make it ok to call the person who hands it to you a c**t?

Presuming you pay your tax, you also help fund the NHS and schools. Does that entitle you to call nurses and teachers the same?

Paying for a ticket gets you in the ground to watch the game. It doesn’t entitle you to abuse anyone. It’s weird to think it does.

Bad language doesn’t bother me in the slightest, but gratuitous personal abuse does. And abuse of our players doesn’t help anyone.
I don’t think he’s old enough to pay tax.

I'm not sticking up for anyone and agree that some of our fanbase are over the top but a grocery store assistant can't be compared to a football player lol.

Football is entertainment and people watch it to be entertained, you don't get any physical item to take home with you like you do in a supermarket. Players are on big wages too and the industry is known to be demanding.

At the end of the day fans paid good money yesterday to be served up dross. They have every right to voice their displeasure but it's the tone of how you do it that seems to be the big problem.
I agree with what your saying I was just making an example because the person said they paid their money so can do what they like obviously going to Tesco isn't like going to th Football lol going to football is fun going to Tesco is s**t 🙂

Heroes? They are well paid footballers for crying out loud.
They are but not where they should be abused because some kids aren’t happy, yes boo if need be but to lambast a single player could have a detrimental affect, the way yesterday should be handled for the next league game is to drop the full backs as they were the ones who cost us yesterday but alas we don’t have a LB cover something you and I and thousands of other OUFC fans have known about since the end of last season.

Seems like the day after xmas in a very spoilt child's house.

I didn't watch or listen to the game. There must have been positives, what were they?

To most fans surely their team’s players are heroes in their way. If you’re a supporter you aren’t just cynically standing back and saying impress me - you applaud and encourage them and if you’re a kid try to get a selfie or autograph. Everyone gets frustrated and critical but only a w****r would abuse their own player, surely,

Where ever there's a hero , there's a villain..

He's behind you !! Behind you !!
Hisssssss!! Hisssssss!!
