Fancy this to be another decent game.............. have to support Sweden for obvious reasons!

Not the most exciting game.

Just switched it on, the dugouts are half a mile from the pitch?

Awful stadium for Spain to choose.

That looked a fantastically worked set piece by Sweden and then the full back tried to cross it, it somewhat unravelled from there.

Still fancy Sweden to knobble them on the break............. possession doesn`t win matches... goals do! :ROFLMAO:

Plenty of action for a 0-0.

I adore Sweden. The country, the team, the beautiful triangular people. They knew they weren’t better than Spain but matched and surpassed the effort of their opponents to keep them out. It was like their match against Germany in 2018 but thankfully they managed to hold on until the end today.

Spain’s main weakness is pretty exposed now - a lack of forward options. Morata and not much else. The days of Raul, Villa, Torres et al seem some time ago now.

On the basis of 90 minutes, it looks like Old Spain are back.

The one that used to turned up at major tournaments (before Xavi/Iniesta/Villa ruined it by being awesome), play some beautiful football, look like they ought to be really good.....but somehow fail to turn dominance into goals, fail to win the early games, and then gradually get more and more flustered over the course of the tournament until they eventually got battered by someone they shouldn't.......

We can but hope.

That Isak lad for Sweden looked some sort of player, not seen much of him before but he has all the making of a top winger/striker. Pace, power and a calmness on the ball.

Quick feet as well. The miss by Forsberg from Isak's cross was a classic.
