General Sad days

sad news indeed - I promoted live bands there for a few years ( including The Kings of Leon (first UK date) and Snow Patrol- mentioned in the BBC piece- among many others) ... was generally always busy pre WW home games with away supporters popping in.

It featured in the sky/Cable TV 'Britains toughest Pubs' series too


* edit - couldn't help noticing that the accompanying pic is of Thom Hingley , ( originally from Oxford shire) , the voice of The Inspiral Carpets, from when he played a solo acoustic gig at the White Horse Wycombe ( another show I put on there)
