Maybe we could/ should have scored more, but I'm a lot happier than I was this time yesterday.

Good to have a confidence boosting easy game, and bounce back after Tuesday.

Clean sheet.

Fantastic to see a return of Browne, just when we need him.

Bodin played well.

Hopefully being dropped will sting MM into improving, but if not we have other options.

We're in the playoffs again!

Lincoln are on fire at the moment, and Stevenage have a game in hand on us, but we have to play them both. Those games are going to be key. Tbh, I am dreading playing them at the moment, but at least there is something to play for and it's really shaping up for an exciting end of the season.

Not very often you can give praise to the stewards but they were excellent, on arriving at the turnstiles with problems climbing steps we were taken to another entrance with hardly any to climb, went out of their way to help any of us in the same situation before and after the game, cant thank them enough.

The port Vale forum is a depressing place to be, but the majority of their comments are very complimentary about us.

Went to watch Frankie Boyle in London yesterday so missed the I follow and commentary, but watching the highlights looked like their goalie had a good game and tried keeping them in it.

Are we the opposite end of the ground to last season?! Completely lost my bearings (although I canโ€™t pretend anything other than Negruโ€™s injury stood out as memorable from my last trip here)!

But Iโ€™m sure I remember the big stand being on the right side last year!

Yes, the Vale fans wanted the previous away end as it created a better atmosphere.

One signing Iโ€™ve been really disappointed with though is McEachran, his sloppy pass nearly gave them a goal and he doesnโ€™t boss the games like I thought he would.

When is McEachran's contract up? He just hasn't worked as a signing for us, imo. And considering the stage of his career, I doubt being a sub/unused sub or left out of the squad altogether does him much good either.

And he did his best to give them their only real chance with that wayward pass. He always seems to make a least one major cock up when he comes on.

Despite some of the local hostelries, Burslem looks to be a severely deprived and run down town - one of six that makes up the Potteries.

I was shocked to see so many crumbling and derelict old buildings dominating much of the landscape. So many takeaways and slot machines and not much else

Really sad to see. The locals are no doubt decent, hard working folk who are now seeing the Vale fall on hard times. I hope they stay up as theyโ€™re a proper club.

Vale play Burton next in a relegation dogfight.
Burslem and the vast majority of Stoke is deprived and run down unfortunately. There is no investment and little ambition. I (together with Burslem) have the misfortune to have Gullis as MP. Take a walk down Tunstall High Street and see the benefit from levelling upโ€ฆ the grand sum of f**k all. Maybe i will have a rant on one of the politics threads insteadโ€ฆโ€ฆ..I might go video the destitution.

Sadly I would have to agree .
It makes Blackpool look like Monaco .

Not looking to start a big argument, but why on earth did they vote for a Tory?

The difference in house prices depending on where you live in the UK are crazy in general.
I bought a 300 year old cottage with a large garden in a small village (similar to somewhere like Bampton) in North Wales just 2 and half years ago for 165k, for the same kind of property with the same size garden 15 miles down the road in Chester would set me back anywhere from 350k upwards.
