Current Player #16 Tyler Burey

He was labelled as having an attitude after he verbally clashed with a Millwall supporter who had, allegedly, racially abused him.

So, yeah, on that basis, he sounds like he’s a right wrong-un.
Well he hasn’t helped himself and yes I know about the altercation…..it takes two to tango

So you’re suggesting his reaction to a racist taunt is a sign of bad attitude?
There were other things allegedly and I dont condone racism but why an attitude with us??? But o would let go as soon as

It obviously isn't and I thought in the summer fair play to him for having a pop back. However that doesn't mean he's also not got a bad attitude himself, I was happy to give him the benefit of the doubt but now he's here he does have an attitude on him.

On the pitch I'm also not sure he's actually that good. Quick for sure which is always an option but he's not as good as Dale, Murphy or Goodrham. Henry isn't up to it any more but I'm happy having him on the bench rather than Burey, his ability is nowhere near enough for it to be a worthwhile trade off.

As is usually the case when things aren't going well on the pitch players who are currently out of favour get better and it's also used as a stick to beat the manager with, and if you're going down that road it pays to suggest we're missing out on a superstar. We aren't.

Ah, but none of this changes the fact that OUFC are the only club in history to have made a signing that doesn't work out.

Again.

You missed the word ‘don’t’, Bazzer.

We don’t know he has an attitude issue with us. We’re in the dark and people are just filling in the blanks. We said the same about Jay Smith and Sonny Perkins, yet both got glowing references for their personality.

Could it be as simple as him just not fitting in to the way DB wants to play? None of us know.

Somethings amiss and if people can’t see that then more fool them, but the summer window should have made their mind up especially bid I he chose to go to Denmark and then 6 months later they have offloaded him. Surely Ed and Des should have seen something. With Perkins he just didn’t seem to fit in.

So you’re happy with a waste of a wage and a loan spot? Ffs
That wasn't the point and not the post I replied to..

You said "yes I know about the altercation…..it takes two to tango" - so you are blaming him as much for having a go back as you are the original racist neanderthal. In your words - FFS.

Sorry but he’s a professional I know and back him in giving it back but still has to curb it, but more importantly what’s he done wrong please answer

Thanks, I missed what you were on about have edited

So, we scouted Burey for quite some time. We were linked in the summer and settled for signing him on loan in January.

Most people in football had the same opinion, questionable attitude and application but a good player. The recruitment team would have absolutely known this for the entire season before he joined.

Burey signs.

Looks like a good player in the 5 games he played, then dropped and never seen again for questionable attitude and application in training.

Then again hindsight is a wonderful thing.

This s**t show isn’t going’s to be solved by change of formation, tactics or starting line up. This is a leadership thing and the environment that is subsequently suffering from lack of it. P45 for our Des…pronto.
