EFL EFL Playoffs

Well played Luton. We had some good battles with them in the conference and they've actually progressed all the way to the top flight whilst we have stagnated.

I'd rather a club like Luton than the revolving door clubs like Norwich.

Will be weird seeing that stadium in the PL

I've always found Luton to be a horrible little club in a horrible little shithole of a town. Never liked them and I'm not going to get misty eyed about them getting back to the big time.

However, it does prove that a club the size of Oxford can make it to the PL, and Brentford and Brighton have shown that they don't only go to make up the numbers.

Hopefully we'll be playing Luton in the Championship in the 24/25 season.

I’m a positive guy like yourself Eggers but even I don’t expect us to go up next season!!

Don't like them but never thought of them as a horrible little club as in our day we were a horrible little club to many of the billy big B*****s. I rather enjoyed playing the likes of Luton rather than safe teams like Mansfield or Shrewsbury. However, each to their own.

Luton, a place that isn't anyone's cup of tea but a place tonight that will be hosting top flight football this coming August from a ground not fit for the knackers yard but a place that resembles in some ways the Manor. And, for all of our doubting Thomas's who believe that we cannot yet house championship football....please take a peep through your fingers tonight and fast forward the likes of Liverpool enhancing the Kenilworth changing rooms and their fans enjoying the washing lines of vests and pants! It shows with a limited capacity, strong values and high expection from their board and the fans that it can be done. Let's hope our bar for next season is alot better than good.

For everyone saying about Luton’s ground hosting premier league football, it is worth noting that they have to do 12 million pounds worth of improvements to get it up to standard before they play in the premier league. This includes rebuilding the ‘conservatory’ stand. They will have to ground share or play all their games away for the first few months of the season.

Oh really? That will be tough. Aren’t they planning a new ground?

They are but it won’t be ready for next season!
Their fans are very anti the thought of sharing with MK too so it will be interesting what they do.

Horrible little club goes back to the bad days in the 80s when they cheated their way with away fan bans and plastic pitch and a nasty Tory owner. Apart from that, the town is a s**t hole, their fans are wankers and more recently they've produced their fair share of muppets, most notably Joe Kinnear.

For some reason I looked up to what JK was up to these days and it turns out that sadly, he was diagnosed with early signs of dementia back in 2015.

I utterly hate Luton as a place, but you have to say they have bought fantastically well without breaking the bank, and recruited managers insanely well. Even after losing Jones and going for Edwards. They've earned that shot.

Tough one as Coventry's main defender (Kyle McFadzean) lives three doors away, and it would have been awesome to see him on MOTD every week!

Really ? Luton over Norwich ? I’d much rather see a club like Norwich make it back. A nice city, lovely ground, well run and likeable club. Luton is the opposite in every respect.
