YouTube You are my Oxford podcast

Can't tell you how much fun we had making this episode with Simon Watts. Genuinely hilarious stories from the Sky Sports Football commentator and Oxford United obsessive... from crashing end of season parties to sharing train journeys with a forlorn player. Plus cameos from Paul Wanless and Mark Rawle... and a review of yesterdays win.

Another great pod Dan and great story about the porn patio and the letters plus the night out with Turley 😂

One suggestion for an episode, could you do a ‘where they are now’ pod with the most unique jobs after leaving Oxford?

A fun episode.
Do OUFC have a disproportionate number of media 'names'?

We would say it, but this is a great episode. Remembering - and showing some of Joey's lesser-known highlights. Weird stats. And Jon Narbett spills the beans. Funny stories about the club in the 90s.

Nice sponsor ;-)

It's too late to watch Youtube tonight, but you could pop a headphone in your ear and listen to this lovely podcast, and picture the goals of Joey Beauchamp as lovingly described by Matt, Dan and our hilarious guest Jon Narbett.

Listening now ( ahead of The Archers )

I use Jon Narbetts name quite regularly, if I haven’t seen someone for a while I’ll say they’re doing a Jon narbett, the trouble is I then have to explain who he is.
Came across as a nice bloke and didn’t have any bitterness towards the club, also, it was Andy melvilles fault his Oxford career stalled.

Season 2, Episode 9. Yeah, we talk about the defeats but we also discuss Gary Smart, Jake Wright and we uncover Jon Narbett's middle name.

Excellent rant on the latest episode. I completely agree.
thank you! It's got a bit of support on tiktok too ... which has really surprised me. But also a few more hostile replies!

You may not agree with the order we came up with, but you'll love hearing the memories and watching the goals again. And if that's not enough, see/hear Mark Rawle's reaction when he's reunited with a long lost wondergoal.

We've created a WhatsApp channel to let you know when we release a new pod or some social content.

We promise not to use it for anything else. Please come join.

S2, Episode 11: Sparky's goal; Joey's missing goal; Aldo's hattrick of goals; Why did the 1986 team look so old?; and the Jon Narbett game throws up a surprise.

We discuss recent bad form, we meet the real-life Oxford Utd scrooge of Christmas past (2012), we meet the man who scored the cup winning goal in 1986 and Matt revisits his music choices.

Row-out, Pow-in?

take a load of our musings on OUFC matters here:

I know, right! Sorry for the delay. Blame Matt.
Have just listened to it, another great episode which included a vital point about the abuse and comments fans make to players. I will never understand why some fans think shouting a load of abuse at our own players will help them play any better.

Bloomfield chat and Luton and Chairboys views. 'Was football in the 80s rubbish?' discussion. Tiger's transfer list revealed. Forget ChatGPT, here's ChatOUFC; and a birthday quiz.

Best win of the season, but a bad break also:

For those that love a little structure to their lives, our next episode will doing a free Premiere on YouTube tonight (Thursday 29th) at 9pm. Watch along knowing that Matt Green and some of the OUFC team of Wembley 2010 will be watching too - you never know, if you ask questions in the comments, they might even answer!

It wasn't even the best goal in that match! Alfie's was better for the sheer relief and the way time stood still as he set himself to shoot.
Well, you can relive Alfie's goal with our interview with him here:

You don't need to use the hard sell on me, I've been subscribed since the first episode and have watched every one.

If anyone else isn't watching these, what are you doing with your life? Make time!!!
