What a grotesque picture.
That was the period when I wasn't really going - don't have any memory of the game and not much of some of the players.

Remember it being sung on the London Road terrace sarge!!
Late 60's early 70's ?
it certainly was... a London Road end favourite from '68 - '74/'75 if memory serves ?

IMO a prime contender to be OUFC 'club song' - no one else sings it either

Yep it was and jumping up and down to the chorus.
Good shout for club song. 👏
Great for getting everyone up for it!!

The only way to turn it into a club song is to start singing it and get others to join in, only when a majority of people are singing it, will it become a club song.
It was ....sort of albeit a london road fave late 60s early 70s ......better than sweet caroline (imo)

on this day 1965 .... OUFC first ever competitive match v Sw*nd*n T*wn,( and my first away game ever) - 0-0 draw

on this day 1985 ... OUFC first ever home game in the English top-flight v Spurs - 1-1draw
