You just have to look at Man United this summer. If they sign Maguire that is £140 million on 3 players. 2 of them aren't even proven Premier League players and the other is a good centre back but 70+ million for him? Not for me.

It is beginning to look like at least one club is going to go which in this day and age is a staggering thought and an insult to fans of lower league football.
Reference the obscene amounts of money, if we were hoping for 1 million for Nelson if under contract does that make Maguire 70 times better than him. Clearly not so maybe football has simply lost touch with reality.

Read yesterday that two Bury players (Mayor & Aimson) have given 14 days notice & followed Lowe to Plymouth. Can`t blame them if they can see what`s coming.

The solution to lower league football clubs isn’t receiving more money from premier league clubs, they would just P**s that up the wall, why would it be any different than now? It’s a hard salary cap, players wages are the biggest problem, until you solve that then most non prem/ non big clubs are just edging towards the abyss, wages can’t keep going up.
