EFL Winding Up Petitions List

Not winding up related, but I notice there are lots of Intellectual Property Cases (Copyright and Design) from the FA Premier League. Not sure what they relate to, my guess is illegal streaming or otherwise sharing EPL matches or highlights.

Not football league, but Gateshead FC have a WUP filed 22 March.

Cheers for these updates, much appreciated!

Winding up petition for 29 March. Ebbsfleet United.

Winding up petition for 29 March. OLDHAM ATHLETIC (2004) ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL CLUB LIMITED
Winding up list for 3 April. THE BOLTON WANDERERS FOOTBALL & ATHLETIC COMPANY LIMITED

Winding up petition for 04 April. SOUTHEND UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB LIMITED(THE)

One day we will have a thread titled lower and non league clubs not with winding up orders against them, as that will be a shorter list.

Is professional football outside of the premier league viable? Their certainly isn’t the money to justify the level of wages at the moment.

And that there's squarely the problem isn't it.

Premier League wages are insane, but so are the TV and endorsement deals so the clubs there can afford them.

But what it's done is drive up all wages, as some Championship teams try desperately to barge their way in to the Premiership party by signing players on Premier League wages, and then other Championship teams try to compete with them, and then some of them end up in League One, and then the rest of League One tries to compete and etc. etc. etc.

The worry is that at some point the seemingly endless supply of wannabe football club owners willing to throw their money away is going to dry up.....and when that happens, I expect a lot of clubs are going to go to the wall.

When you look at page 1 for winding up petitions this season almost all of them are in the relegation spots of whatever league they are in.

sadly a likely to be true scenario of the future :( ...... a lot of non league teams and lower league sides will either be part time not full time or, will be replaced with Shaun Harvey's aim of prem b teams ?

The bubble will burst at some point; it will be devastating.

Talk about that Man Utd player Pogba demanding £500000pw.....greed that is like sick in a bucket

Apparently Bury are back in court again thanks to their previous owners hiding debts etc according to the new owners.
