Ex-Player Thread Will Vaulks

All the best, Will. Someone who won’t get credit for all the good stuff he did. Too many people will only rate him based on his on the pitch performances, but Wills work at the club goes far beyond that. Far more important than that. He’s had a bigger impact than many so called names have.
Yes, we won’t be wasting our time with pointless long throws.. but we’ve lost a major mental health ambassador.
Guys.. don’t be scared to talk or reach out. Will may be gone but his legacy lives on.
I’m here if anyone needs to be chat to a stranger.
I’m sure others are too.
Reach out.
This goes too far.
He was signed as a professional footballer - to contribute on the pitch.
The off the pitch stuff is important in a wholly different way, but doesn’t mitigate what he did or didn’t contribute in a footballing capacity.

Not over sure he'd be starting these days for any manager - he's 33 next month so another two years back at home club suits everyone concerned.

It was a bad attempt at humour, suggesting that we're making one last "undisclosed fee" reference in honour of our (apparently) soon-to-be-departing CEO.

I'll learn from this etc etc.
But he's not apparently departing, that's the problem.

Perhaps. He’s gone very quiet, but then that’s not unusual for him.

Tends to have a long holiday over summer, so we will only find out whether he has gone when the season starts. Although if he hasn’t it will be fun seeing him try to dress this summer up as an example of being well run.

He sent in a written response to the recent FSB meeting since he could not attend in person.
