We were absolutely the masters of our own downfall when it came to tactics. To think we were playing for long balls from defence and long throws when we had Lankshear is embarrassing in hindsight.

Rowett absolutely held us back. Then after 60 minutes backs against the wall over and over until the enveitable happens just like England Argentina.. Written all over it.

Employing two terrified head coaches last season did nothing for us. I still remember when were playing anti football with BDK in centre mid, even after we showed how good we could be after Bristol City away.

Bloomfield is naive/inexperienced but Rowett will always remain a c**t in my eyes.

I'm all for agreeing that Rowett underutilised the players at his disposal, but Bloomfield is surely as guilty (if not moreso, when you factor in January recruitment)?

Trevor Hebberd! Only player (imo) we have ever had who could/should have played for England while at Oxford.

All before my time, but if Lanks gets 50 caps for England, and has a 10-15 year top flight career that surpasses at least Joey. Houghton and Aldridge will be tough to top, but it is not impossible to suggest England will win a world cup with Lanks as the 9

My three Spurs friends are astonished Spurs sold him. They have a buyback, but that only means they can get him if they match another bid- and he wants to return. I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the next England squad. Tuchel could well want a closer look at him.
