I’d agree. I’m very grateful to him for the happy memories of him last seasonReally top player, surprised Spurs would let him go. But with the money they're splashing out they probably don't want to develop a young talent. Shame.
Be very interesting what he can do in a team at the top end of the league. All the best to him.
They’ve already signed MPH and Joseph this season, how many more ex Oxford players will they signWouldn’t be surprised to see Middlesbrough come in for Stan now as well.
Spurs are throwing around silly money this summer with complete disregard to their academy prospects.Echoed but I can imagine he’s partly pretty disappointed that Spurs have chucked him out like leftovers.
Tore it up for their youth team, got his breakthrough and scored in Europe, went out on quite a risky loan to ensure he played, subsequently excelled and his return for that is being cashed in on.
Granted it’s a good move and Spurs appear to be getting a decent price and he may well be in the premier league in 12 months anyway, but that’s some rough treatment from spurs when we know their agenda is just to free them up to continue their spree.

They even still seem to set to allow Djed Spence go despite him having a bit of a breakout this summer at the WC
Footballers are like Art, they are worth as much as someone is willing to pay for them!If he's worth £14m then what's Mills worth?
Boro was the team he had a chance to join in January. They have said it made them want him more that he chose to stay with us to help us avoid relegation.Feels like a really good move for him actually. Good luck to him!!
I wonder what his career path would have been had Spurs been relegated.Absolutely delighted for Will and wish him all the best at Middlesbrough. Just wish he was given a proper chance at Spurs but at least with this move, he can immediately continue where he left off at a very good level and continue to grow. He may get Boro up or he could even get a move back into the Prem with someone else in the next few years. The lad has astonishing potential and it's a privilege to have a player like him at our club.
He definitely would've been in their first team and probably starting. Spurs would've been financially crippled and had a wealth of limitations on their spend, so players like Will would have been ideal for them to see out the season. It's just a shame as we've seen with so many big clubs, that instant huge spending can kill off prospects of developing players so they have to find alternatives. Hopefully it will come back to bite Spurs in the long run!I wonder what his career path would have been had Spurs been relegated.
I think the Borough fans will love him. He gives 100 percent every match and is an old school no 9. He is also thoughtful and articulate when being interviewed for such a young lad.Hope he goes on to have a stellar career, he has all the attributes.
Pleased for him but not sure if he’s worth 20 million. Love to be proved wrong though.
Can definitely see it. There was a thing going around during the world cup of a list of English strikers who will be below the age of 30 at the Euros with at least one appearance in a top 5 league last season:Making an early prediction. He will be in the England squad for the 2032 Euros. Possibly the 2030 World Cup squad!
"It's been a great week so far. I've learnt as much as I have my whole life in one week under Kim [Hellberg]," Lankshear told BBC Radio Tees.

I am not sure it was meant as a dig to anyone and more just a glowing reference of his new manager.I don’t think it’s any negative reflection on Bloomfield or Rowett at all - four full months under each and the best scoring form of his career. That’s a dig at his Spurs coaches and anywhere else he’s been shipped out to, bar us.
Took it wellScores in Carabao cup
Good goal
