Especially the first one where he kept Joey out of the side for a few games and was outstandingJimmy Carter had two good loan spells with us in the 90's
That's assuming we do sign a new striker! Wouldn't entirely surprise me if we line up with Harris, Prelec and Goodwin next season.Lets not get our hopes up to the point where whoever the striker we do sign will be disappointing in comparison
By why would Spurs what to help teams in the league they will probably be playing In next year. Unless a prem team comes in I do think there is a chanceI don't think we'd have had a chance if we'd stayed up personally. And I think there's no chance Spurs will want him to continue his development in a league lower.

He scored against Real Madrid the other day as well.I thought he was good in our first season back in League One. He’s had quite a decent career since.
He's not a De Zerbi player as I have saidIf they are in the championship he will probably be part of their squad?
This season hasn't even finished yet. Bit early to be getting hung up on who leads the line next yearHow long have we been banging on about getting a striker in on every transfer period , I’ve lost count. Are we playing Sparky as the main striker?
Had to look him up, never remembered him at all. Thought first of Carl Sanders who played fullback for Oxford City and was my sports master at Cheney in the fifties.Carl Saunders?![]()
In theory he can go from us back to spurs and be in there squad for the remaining 5 games be interesting to see if he doesIt's a weird position for Lankshear. He must be desperate for his club to get relegated as that will potentially have a huge, positive impact on his career. If Spurs stay in the PL he's back out on loan at somewhere like West Brom or Wrexham. If they get relegated he's on the bench minimum for them and will get a good share of starts. Highly likely too they'd romp the Championship and then he'd be part of a PL squad.
As relegation is now confirmed do we have to play the waiting game again. Strike while the irons hot , it’s like a 20 stone person going on a diet , slim down and choose the right diet !This season hasn't even finished yet. Bit early to be getting hung up on who leads the line next year

It begs the question (the sort of which you pose in the summer, when you have nothing to play for or when your fate has been decided), who are the top five most effective loan signings we’ve ever had?
With Will Lankshear, I’d certainly put Paul Gerrard and George Baldock. Whilst we signed him later, Rob Hall in his first spell as a 17 year old was electric. Conor McAleny with two hat tricks can’t be looked past either.
Honourable mentions: Phil Edwards and for one specific moment Kyle Vassell. Lee Holmes for his two assists against them too.
(Omit loans we made then turned to permanent deals such as Chey Dunkley, Matty Taylor, James Constable and Kemar Roofe - we just want players who were here briefly.)

Birmingham supposedly interested
He was always pretty good against us for Bristol Rovers, so I wasn't disappointed with him coming in.... well, until I saw him play...Carl Saunders?![]()
Marco Gabbiadini and Imre Varadi have got to be in the conversation. It begs the question (the sort of which you pose in the summer, when you have nothing to play for or when your fate has been decided), who are the top five most effective loan signings we’ve ever had?
