What moment from OUFC's past would you love to a video of?

Gavin Gordon's header away at York in 2002.

Had signed with little to no announcement with the fans on the terrace singing "come on new bloke" when he came on as sub. Must have been on about five minutes before scoring a bullet header.

The great missing goal of OUFC history is Rhodes-Brown thunderbolt v Chelsea at the Cuckoo Lane end back in the top flight days, that's the one that seems to have never been captured.

Brock's Free kick v Man Utd at Old Trafford in 83/4 was missing for years as well, although found again now.
Yes, I've never seen that either.
A different Torquay game; I'd love to see a video of Jack Midson's hat trick. We were stood behind the goal that he scored them in. A great day.
Your wish is my command

Thanks for all the responses. I feel like I've seen some of the things that have been requested although I can''t find them now. I'm sure I ve seen David Oldfield's goal and Gavin Gordon's header... hopefully they'll reappear on YT someday. Keep the requests coming.

As for the Gary Briggs tackle ... I can't give you the one against Chelsea but this game has two of the worst fouls I've ever seen (1 Briggs, 1 Trewick)

I always thought that McMahon own goal was a lot further out - funny how the memory plays tricks.

What an appalling game though. I don't know if football has got so much technically better over the years, but when you consider that game involved one of the best teams in Europe (and Liverpool) there was so much scrappiness going on. Possibly just better pitches now

Here's a game you might remember. Can you think of a bigger daylight robbery?

My late grandfather played for Headington (albeit briefly, I think) way back. So I'd love some video of that (although the invention of the time machine would have to come first!). Failing that (or perhaps as well, if I am greedy), my great grandfather on the other side of the family had a fairly illustrious career in the game as well - so a few minutes of that please.

Remember watching that and superb from Paul Reece.

Rushden & Diamonds away when we won 2-0 in 2002 I think. They utterly battered us to the point that Matty Bound had a hat-trick of last ditch goal line clearances celebrating the last one tangled in the net iirc. Also that last one was an overhead clearance as well.

there's one Headington United match on YouTube. and this is the line-up. https://rageonline.co.uk/mainpage/fixture/1954-01-30/ Hope he's here for you.

One thing I noticed was that a Bristol City fan had put up a ten minute match vlog from the stands including on the field action. Have the EFL changed their stance on this?
Several years ago I used to film match action (eg free kicks / penalties) on a small camera to put on youtube, but got a take-down notice from the EFL so stopped doing it.
Whereas in recent years, fan recorded clips pop-up fairly regularly on X, and even the club asked for social media highlights.
I think it's nice to see goals etc from a different camera angle or from in the crowd rather than relying on the official highlights.

Thanks, but it would have been earlier than that. He was born in 1907 and was really a cricketer more than a footballer, but did play for Headington Utd - there is a (unfortunately now lost) family picture of him in the striped shirt which would make it early 1930s. My mum was born in 1934, and my grandma put her foot down about the football playing apparently, so the dates line up. I cannot believe that anyone was filming the club in that era. I can't actually even find a team photo that shows him.

With the surname ZeroTheHero it shouldn't be too difficult to track him down.

I wish they would change their stance so fans had to actually enjoy the game without having a phone in their hand the whole time.
