What moment from OUFC's past would you love to a video of?

Not OUFC but I was at Crystal Palace vs Leeds in the late 90s and Tomas Brolin (ex-Leeds) was waddling around midfield to much hilarity in the away end. He got a head injury (again, to cheers) and was bandaged up by someone who had been watching too many Egyptian mummy movies. Later in the game, he was trying to close down a clearance and the ball got whacked into his face, he turned around and the next player wellied it and hit his face again, with the bandage turban flying off in a wide arc and landing on the ground. It was like the Three Stooges made real and I don't think I've seen a bunch of fans lose it collectively quite as much as that incident.
I weirdly remember this, so had to look it up. Found this on YouTube, enjoy:

As you'll see from my podcast, I love finding old OUFC archive on YouTube or wherever. Here's a deal: you take a watch of my podcast below, and post something you want me to try and find, and I'll try to find it. You might even get a mention in the next podcast.

So far I've found 75 of Joey Beauchamp's 77 goals, David Icke in goal for Oxford, Phil Trainer's freekick at Rushden, commentary of our highest ever scoring game with Norwegian commentary, and Matt Murphy's wild overhead kick at Cardiff.

Lee Molyneaux's goal that Steve Basham stole from him at home to Wycombe in January 2005, please.

Some crowd moments:

Teletubbies theme tune being sung to the St John's Ambulance lady when she used to go on the pitch.

Some of the classic fans on pitch moments such as gone wrong marriage proposals with the London Road at their evil best.

The full Bomb Dog display

And for actual football (well kind of) a clear view from the London Road perspective of Johnny Lager punching the opponent multiple times after the bloke had been winding him up all game.

Gary Briggs’s punching an arsenal forward in the head while pat jennings was taking a goal kick, I think his name was Allison or something like that, tha ball bounced and ended up in our goalies hands, Briggsy was half way up the field and the forward was on the ground, I think I was one of the only people to see it. Pure Gary briggs.
He did the same to John Fashanu when we played Wimbledon at the Manor .
Dave Beasant kicked the ball out from hand, Briggsy calmly tracked back and Fash was lying flat out in the centre circle. He was regarded as the hardest striker in the league at the time, hardly touched the ball after that.

I thought about that the other day, it was insane, I actually thought we were under attack for a second or two šŸ˜‚
I missed this altogether as I don’t generally get to my seat til just before kick off. But read several comments / tweets about it after. So never actually saw it.

Gary Briggs's ruthless challenge on Chelsea hardman Doug Rougvie at the Manor. Rougvie did a full 360 over Briggs's head. Amazing man our Gary.

Yes it was Brighton!

I had this on my mind when I saw this post to…

Other mentions for me , ramon Diaz trying to get back in the stadium…
The boardroom Being stormed

On the topic of PSFs, how about Diogo Andrade’s Ali Dia impression too? I’m sure we’d all want to see that back again.

All of Lincoln City’s disallowed goals in the most one sided 1-0 defeat I can recall when the hopeless Rix was in charge of us. It must have been at least five that were ruled out.

Also for comedy value, Brian Talbots PowerPoint

One video I’d like to see was scored against us. Jermaine Defoe when on loan to Bournemouth. From memory, it was a chip that I think might be one of the best goals I ever saw. Probably exaggerated in my mind over time! Rage Online making me think Boxing Day 2000 could be the date.

Almost the entire home crowd singing ā€œf**k off Di Canioā€. I was in the SSL that day and couldn’t believe the noise around me.

Don't think I've ever seen a video of David Oldfield's overhead kick winner at Dover in the FA Cup in 2002/3. I was at the game but had a pretty s**t viewing angle low in a corner and have often wondered how good it really was...

Yes, that's the game. Defoe scored both and was the difference between the teams.

Yeah I was there as well, the view from the away end was pretty poor. Wasn't it a slightly sunken terrace?
