This was very good at the Bell in Bicester when I went to see The Worried Men gig the other week
Also on Friday night after the match I had a nice bottle of Old Perculiar, made even nicer as my tight fisted son actually bought it![]()
Bet that wasn't what you were drinking todayRecently been drinking SiS Carb electrolyte mix on long runs, been working really well alongside their beta gels and Blox chews.
Any idea where I can buy these, @Sarge ?Not as yet tried either of a couple of new Little Ox Beers- I shall put that right this friday eve ( Dec 5) at Little Ox Xmas party at their brewery

Just hoping they might be on sale in a shop somewhere local. Mail order will have to do![]()
Little Ox Brew Co
A passion for great beer and a wish to share our craft locally is what brought our small team together. We created Little Ox with a vision to make craft beers that have a broad appeal with a twist from the traditional to challenge our drinkers to try new tastes.www.littleoxbrewery.co.uk
@Essexyellows beat me to it with the link... If youre in Oxford( or closeish) The Bottletop at the bottom of Headley way ( Cherwell Drive), have a range of Little Ox cans in stock ( dont think they have the 2 newest ones - yet)Any idea where I can buy these, @Sarge ?
Thanks

If you're lucky they may have in stock the Lucky U gift box. Two cans of Lucky U and a Little Ox/OUFC branded pint glass.Think delivery is only about £6 or free if you are under an hour away.
If you happen to be in town in the next few days The Royal Blenheim has some nice dark beers on tap at the moment. After being diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in 2015 and then having 37 sessions over 7 1/2 weeks my stomach can no longer take really hoppy beers. This meant a radical change of beers and whilst I have the occasional IPA by go-to beers are Porters/Stouts/Barleywine/dark Mild's/dark beers/with an occasional Lager. And I really enjoy them. As a result of Covid I now tend to buy my beers online, before we left the EU I was ordering beers from all over Europe but now use mainly UK suppliers and I have not been disappointed by them. 1st of three beers tonight and it's from a Scottish brewery - Five Kingdoms Brewery with 6.5% IPA called Captain Morrison's and quite nice it is, not too hoppy.
Will update with the second and third beers later.
I guess that depends on how fast they driveThink delivery is only about £6 or free if you are under an hour away.
Thanks @Sarge - I might brave the ringroad and check out the Bottletop (otherwise it means going through the St Clements congestion charge point). Failing that, I'll wait until the Preston game, although I'm not sure that the stewards would approve of me entering the stadium with a dozen bottles/cans of ale about my person@Essexyellows beat me to it with the link... * Edit- they ( The Bottletop) open 11am and close 10pm
Also 13 Dec, the 12.30 ko home game v Preston NE, / OUFC Xmas extravaganza day (morning), Little Ox will have a presence in the Quadrangle prematch, though whether they will have any additional brews to their (OUFC ) Lucky U Pale ale and (OUFC) 1893 Lager with them , I dont know
They do free delivery to OX postcodes on two days of the week I had a delivery on Wednesday. I can't remember how much you have to spend for free delivery as I had a gift card to use. Thanks @Sarge - I might brave the ringroad and check out the Bottletop (otherwise it means going through the St Clements congestion charge point). Yep, free shipping! It turns out I already had an account with them (who knew) so a nice and easy transaction involving just a couple of clicks and on Wednesday I should have a dozen cans of assorted bitter. NiceThink delivery is only about £6 or free if you are under an hour away.
Thank you.If you happen to be in town in the next few days The Royal Blenheim has some nice dark beers on tap at the moment.
There's an App called Real Ale Finder and there's a few Oxford pubs on it. It tells you what they currently have on and forthcoming beers.
