West Ham will need to sell players this summer even if they avoid relegation from the Premier League, after revealing a £104.2m loss for the last financial year.

Given what’s happening with Sullivan now, Sullivans dodgy links to organised crime and the Olympic stadium rental situation, I should imagine there are a few politicians etc sitting a little uncomfortable at the moment, they won’t want to many threads pulled about West Ham and that stadium.

Excellent book called Legacy about the whole area around the Olympic park and how dodgy the shenanigans were once Stratford was chosen as the site for the Olympics, even has mention of Danial Levy being warned about going up against Sullivans West Ham in bidding for it due to some of Sullivans associations.

"a few politicians" - you mean Boris Johnson? Boris took sole charge of the deal, ignored advice, and just took whatever West Ham offered without understanding that it would cost the taxpayer a third of a billion in conversion costs, and lose the taxpayer £20million a year (even more now West Ham have been relegated).
