Wasn't At The Game - New Year's Day (01/01/2025) - BBC Sounds
Millwall v Oxford United post-match reaction from the manager, the players and you.

Kioso was definitely an oversung hero on Saturday - his performance, by his own admission, wasn't great but that was one of the loudest chants (it is a banger).Love WATG but wish NH would stop referring to Brown and Cumming as unsung heroes. They both get immense amounts of praise week in, week out, and both literally have a fans chant.
And good to see he appreciated it, both at the end of the game and in his post match interview.Kioso was definitely an oversung hero on Saturday - his performance, by his own admission, wasn't great but that was one of the loudest chants (it is a banger).
I like Nick Harris: he reminds me of listening to games when I was 12, he's got a great turn of phrase ("and up go the heads"), he's got an accent you don't hear much anymore and he's a good guy who really cares about the club. Not everything has to be supper slick and professional - he doesn't always make sense but he's honest and much more sensible and balanced than some of our fans who call in!As much as I appreciate Nick Harris' history with the club and Radio Oxford, he talks a load of shite - a lot of the time. Really frustrating to listen to. Its like he's watching a totally different game to the rest of us. PRB isnt much better...
I know it will never happen but I would love George Elek brought into the matchday comms.
I like NH too, just find it odd that any decent defender/keeper is considered 'unsung' by default when its clearly not the case.I like Nick Harris: he reminds me of listening to games when I was 12, he's got a great turn of phrase ("and up go the heads"), he's got an accent you don't hear much anymore and he's a good guy who really cares about the club. I think he says it more because goalies and defenders aren't typically very sexy to rave about. I'm sure he's aware how much fans value their contributions.I like NH too, just find it odd that any decent defender/keeper is considered 'unsung' by default when its clearly not the case.
Agree that is the context.I think he says it more because goalies and defenders aren't typically very sexy to rave about. I'm sure he's aware how much fans value their contributions.
I like Nick Harris too, for me he goes hand in hand with the Radio Oxford coverage, and it will be a sad day indeed when he stops contributing.I like Nick Harris: he reminds me of listening to games when I was 12, he's got a great turn of phrase ("and up go the heads"), he's got an accent you don't hear much anymore and he's a good guy who really cares about the club.
