Match Buildup Walsall...........................

TBH with you, neither am I if I am honest, especially as two more photos emerged as I looked further down, also someone claims he recognises someone, who isn't actually in the photo there, and would be much younger. Also I would expect to see a certain AL from Aylesbury in one of those photos, and he isn't there either.

I think most of the gents in that picture are of the wrong age group TBH. The picture on the thread of NI being "escorted away" is a classic!

Looks like the trains run as far as Walsall, every half hour from Birmingham New Street. So not a problem?

Looked on the train line for trains from Bicester to Walsall

Came up with warnings that it may not run to Walsall due to industrial action. 4 different warnings came up.... I got LRC tickets instead, which ironically is more expensive than the train with a railcard.... as I have to bus it from Bicester to Oxford first ?

why don’t you pick coach up in Kidlington?

Services are still running they are just reduced and a bit random according to a local.
Can fit 2k in the away end which, despite those poxy pillars, is one of my favourite away stands in the Country.
Fill it and the place will be rocking, its the magic of the FA Cup. ?

Timetable for the Saturday just gone had trains every half hour. With the arrival times at Bescot Stadium being 1419 and 1450.
Strike timetables are normally confirmed at the back end of the week.

As I haven't been in a long time and lots of development has happened since, for those who have more recently gone, what is the car parking like in the area?

Thanks in advance.

There is an away support car park behind the stadium. Not many spaces but very convenient.

This from the Fans guide website:
Car Parking
There is a good sized car park located at the ground behind the away stand, which costs £4 for cars and £6 for minibusses. The entrance to this car park is off Bescot Crescent next to the Park Inn Hotel and is signposted as 'Blue Zone'. The car park which is for the use of visiting supporters only (there are two other car parks available at the ground for home fans), normally lends itself to a quick getaway after the match. More or less opposite the away end is Bescot Railway Station, which also offers pay and display car parking for £2. Alternatively, there is some street parking to be had off Wallowes Lane.
