I think having the final as late as April 11th could be a distraction if we are fighting it out at the top of the table. It seemed to be for Peterbough when they won it 2024 when we thrashed them a week after their Wembley victory. I would prefer it all the group matches were played in pre-season as they did in 1981-82 and 82-83 and play the final in February or March, rather than dragging the whole thing out. KR was an advocate for this, particularly because he thought competitive matches were better than friendlies for preparing for the season proper.

Will be a good way to bridge the gap between the U21s and the senior side if anything, there was a massive divide between them when we were in the Championship. Hope to see more of Griffiths, Snowden and Missanga in the first team

Never attend matches but it's always a good way to get the fringe players more match fit for if and when we need them, basically friendlies mid season

Hopefully a cheap evening to bring the younger ones to.

I reckon Hone tie against Notts County first game, Home Vs. Plymouth on Boxing day, and away to Blackpool last game of the season,
