Youth Team 1 up at half time v Wigan in FA youth cup
I posted from the ground at half time but it seems to have vanished into the ether. Just wanted to say it was good to see a lot of the men's and women's players there, as well as m most of the backroom staff, Tim Williams, the recruitment and analysis teams as well.

Ah thanks. Once you've seen one youth thread you've seen them allWent onto the ex U21/Academy players thread.
Happily we won.
I know this will be seen as negative, but should we go down this year, he'd be one I could see tearing up League One. The BDK's, Helik's, Curries would all have enough interest from higher up that they would go, and I reckon it could very well be just Cam and Mills from the top end of the squad we would see remain should we drop. It’s been mentioned on The Dub that Phillips is very well regarded in the club due to the work he does with other teams at OUFC and his general personality etc. we also know Vaulks puts a lot into community engagement.
Mills in that photo is someone I suspect has quite a bright career in football, regardless of how long he plays. Always comes across as intelligent and down to earth in interviews, clearly keen to learn and commit, also been involved in community work.
Of the players we’ve signed since being in the Championship, he’s certainly one that I think shows a bit more and I hope sticks around.

I believe Stan is well influenced by his family, where his father was an England player and his brother is a professional track and field athlete. I very much count on his positive contribution to the results of the upcoming festive period. It’s been mentioned on The Dub that Phillips is very well regarded in the club due to the work he does with other teams at OUFC and his general personality etc. we also know Vaulks puts a lot into community engagement.

Josh Holton and Callum Doyle bossed the midfield, while up front Jack Lee was like a young Danny Hylton. Both Mubarak Abolade and Mo Missanga on the wings were quick and skilful, while the defence were all pretty solid. Even when Charlie Cramond got sent off with about 35 minutes to go we didn't ever really look like conceding. A very composed performance.Who played well this evening?
Did anybody stand out?
So how many grandkids do fit on the back of a Vespa?was hoping to get along to last nights youth cup game- sadly late afternoon/ early evening grampycab duties took precedence

I was very impressed with Callum Doyle in the recent Under 21s match I watched, and thought he was MOTM. I had no idea he was an Under 18 though! Even more impressed now. Definitely one to watch.Josh Holton and Callum Doyle bossed the midfield, while up front Jack Lee was like a young Danny Hylton. He has improved dramatically since he came into the picture a couple of seasons back. I thought at first that he was lucky to be offered a scholarship, now he has to be one of the first names on the team sheetI was very impressed with Callum Doyle in the recent Under 21s match I watched, and thought he was MOTM. Are Snowden and Griffith still eligible to play U18s ( I think that they are both injured?)He has improved dramatically since he came into the picture a couple of seasons back.
