A fool if you think we were signing another loan. Essentially Eastwood injury ruined any chance of adding any fire power up top, because when he and Carruthers are back we'd be able to name a bench of loanees which we can't do and would probably face fines from 2 sides for not playing there players .

I've heard this as well and didn't come from Oxbible. Atleast it gives us another option up top and with Henry Holmes and Browne/Whyte behind he'll get loads of chances.

Agree though, seems past it. Don't feel as if he'd be a significant improvement on, say, Wes Thomas. Would only make sense to have let both WT and KH go if we could bring in someone better - which this guy doesnt seem to be.

31 year old striker....injury prone too, certainly in recent times!

On non contract terms ( pay per games played) may be an option, see if/ how he fits in ?
