Didn't KR say in the latest iFollow interview that we wouldn't be signing an extra winger after all?

I assume he was told we could get two out of the three available targets?

So that's a summer recruitment drive of:

Cadden
Moore
Gorrin
Woodburn
Thorne
Forde
Fosu
Agyei
Taylor

plus a couple of kids, joining a squad that already had a very decent nucleus carried over from last season.

Man, that's quality and depth.

Sure, it's taken a while, but is there anyone out there not happy with our summer overall?

Unless we get ravaged by injuries, this should be the makings of a top six squad.
Well, I wonder what Myles makes of it all?

This is supposedly on a reduced budget to last season aswell. Makes you wonder how much we paid for Hanson and spent on likes of Browne,Carruthers and Holmes wage.

That it's all been funded by one of Tiger's associates laundered money that came from helping to dispose of Jamal Khashoggi's dismembered body and trafficking girls to Epstein, probably. All the information is out there, just look it up. ?

Also makes you wonder how much of the Whyte fee has been reinvested in the squad. I can’t imagine that Taylor or Thorne deals have been done on the cheap.

Don’t start crowing. We don’t own our ground and it’s not at all clear what would happen if Tiger and co get bored
News flash! We haven't owed our own ground for years, and the time when we did was hardly our most successful years. Whilst it might not be clear about what would happen if Tiger and co pull out, the same could have been said if every owner since God knows when. We lose money as a club, and have done for years. So anyone walking away will leave us in a desperate need to find a new investor. That is all glaringly obvious.

HOWEVER, project fear had us believe that there was no money, that Tiger was either here to asset strip (despite having no assets), was the front for some dodgy Asian money laundering gang, was being funded by dodgy Russians etc. We've had people claiming that hotel bills weren't paid, the showers not working at the training ground, lawn mowers being repossessed etc. For every WUP we were told to await all the other debts coming out of the woodwork. And as recently as the beginning of July, the players not being paid and a meeting taking place in Portugal.

And what came of any of this? Any evidence to back up a single claim??

So despite the fact that some big mistakes have been made with the cashflow and unexpected costs (arbitration/training ground) we are now seeing real investment into the playing squad like we've not seen in years. We are seeing investment in our youth set up, and players that will add value in the future. Whyte went from £100k to £3m in a year. What value would you put on Dickie, Brannagan and Sykes now? How much do you think Moore, Ageyi Fosu etc could go for in a year or 2?

We are close to securing the training ground as our own and continue to work towards getting a stadium which we can finally call home, all whilst helping towards delivering a sustainable model for the future.

I would suggest that there is plenty to crow about right now, both on and off the pitch.

Are we going for the training ground or a new one?

Yes things are looking good. But surely most of us have been supporters long enough to retain some caution
