Im happy to wait if that means getting the right player. The team did well on Saturday. We looked like a "team" actually, which was pleasing considering it was the first game of the season and so many new players.

Scored a hat trick a couple of days ago for Norwich u23's against a dutch second tier team. Last goal is particularly good. Hope we don't sign any of the Norwich u23 defenders!!

This must be the player Robbo was scouting at the Toulon tournament, thought we would be after either Idah or Connolly, both have strong scoring records at youth level.

Blimey he's a young one to be taking on loan, presumably to play in the first team. If this lad comes to us, at the moment as strikers we seem to have either young loanees or - right at the other end of the experience scale - Mackie. I am presuming that at some point we will be actually signing a striker with some experience of this level who is in his prime.

Not the most convincing penalty but took the 2nd/3rd goals well. Seems to have some pace.

Looks like it's done on a season long loan. Let's hope that's our 3rd option with a proven number 9 still to come on a permenant deal.

Strange that everyone is so against him just because he is 18. Wayne Rooney was scoring in the premiership at 16 - if you’re good enough, you’re old enough. And, looking at him, he’s not a Dan Crowley/Callum O’Dowda type who needs to bulk up and time to develop physically - he looks a physical specimen, 6ft 3”, quite strong.
As for the whole loan thing, if we keep him all season and he scores the goals to keep us up/send us up, I don’t care that much that we can’t keep him. And, like Roofe, maybe we can!
