Did I miss something but did the council say that an agreement was imminent at the OxVox meeting a few weeks back?

Anyone heard anything?

It's going to a make a massive difference to have a permanent dedicated training base. I'm really impressed with the work Dan Harris is doing and I hope it will really help push the younger players on further as well as the first team.

Brilliant news, why so few posts? This is a huge step in the right direction for the club.

Now now, I’m sure if the announcement had been that the deal had fallen through, we’d have a similar number of posts on the matter. *cough*

Great news for the club and great to see that nasty Mr Eales was so influential in sorting out the deal.

That’s a new training ground confirmed, visibly better marketing and a ticket offer all in the space of a week! Not bad for a basket case club.

Now let’s have a manager please.

I reckon it would be a good idea to get all the players onto a coach and drive them down there to look at what’s being built. It would show them the clubs ambitions and what they have to look forward to next season. I’d pay special attention to the likes of Rothwell, Lego and Eastwood.

Coach? They can see it the other side of the road from training everyday [emoji6]

Can’t believe an own goal has been missed to repurpose the Positivity Bus image. Standards are clearly slipping.

The facilities will be a huge step up and represent significant investment: £4.9M. On top, there will be maintenance fees, operational costs (payable to Fusion?) and possibly rent on the land.

Would be curious to know how much this will cost OUFC directly and how this compares to the existing setup?

I'm guessing this is a good deal for the club as OCC are heavily involved in return for the local community having access.

Wonder what Myles and Charlie think about this. Normally quick to comment, mind you this is a step forwards, so perhaps there feeling down about what’s happening behind the scenes.

Don’t rub it in. It’s bad enough for them that the marketing has improved greatly just in a few weeks and ticket offers getting put in place.

Looks like a very positive move to me. Getting the training situation sorted has been a priority for a number of years now, so it's good to see significant progress made.

Going back to ur original “what’s missing at the club list” we must be fairly far down sorting all those issue now ain’t we?

M.D. I have a feeling he will be made full time

Head of academy

Improvement to coaching and scouting for the academy

Marketing

Merchandise

Training ground

Other than corporate hospitality, chief scout and Sarah goodings role on a full time basis, what else was there that let slip under Darryl from the early day under him and Ashton ?

Would say tiger has made some pretty impressive steps in just two weeks
