Portugal pre season but no games, marquee match away not in england

Nowt to a direct q re nelson

Not much re direct q about lopez

Not much re budget

Not much at all.....hey ho

Just listened.

Watches all the loan players either live or by video and they go on the squad tracking board as well to compare against existing squad players.

KR has never once been lied to throughout his time at OUFC. Tiger didn't even see half the things coming that went on behind the scenes this season. KR admitted that he too made mistakes in the summer.

Meeting with Nelson on Wednesday.

Sounds like the money will be spent on the infrastructure of the club more so than the 1st team next season to build a more sustainable model. No issue with this as long as the club are honest and open with the fans and explain what these plans are.

Everyone inside of football knows about Fabio Lopez and he has had a great year but was set back through injury/illness/dip in form. I know this is true that Fabio is well known to other clubs.

Pre season training camp in Portugal with a marquee game on 7th July in another country (not england or portugal).

There is less money to work with next year due to the need to spend money off the pitch to deliver the long-term plan. Under this plan, when fans spend money, it will go back into the football club.

Bit cryptic that. It really would be helpful if the Board could share this long-term plan or at least some key highlights of it.

Pre-season training in Portugal for 6 days from 29th June (no games) and then flying to another country nearer to here for a 'Marquee game' on Sunday 7 July - 1pm kick-off.

In what sense does it not already go into the club, especially when in a recent press release it said "Season Tickets remain the single biggest factor in helping Karl build his squad for next season so we urge fans to get behind the team once again in 2019/20 and book as soon as possible." Hm.

Like you said, some clarity regarding future plans would be extremely helpful. More than a year on and what do we honestly know, other than vague brushstrokes?

stop asking questions and just put your hands in your pockets ( i purposely never said press the bank transfer button for obvious resasons :) )!!!!!

So Spain or France presumably.
Marquee game. Interesting. I wonder who that will be?

Pre season in Poland would be my preference. Good beer, Amazing women, and some decent football venues. Everyone’s a winner!

Rangers at Ibrox. Bit of a strange one really.
Is that confirmed? Interesting if so, I think I’ve read somewhere before that Robinson and Gerrard are mates? Maybe we’ll see a few young Rangers squad players here next season.

Didn't Robinson start off coaching in Liverpool's academy so probably there when Gerrard was playing.

Think it will be confirmed closer to the end of the season.
