Tinpot Swindon

Wasn't there someone posting as "Sean Ruff"?
I can't really remember what their angle was, claiming to be ITK about everything?
and then turned out to be a schoolkid from Swindon.
It was Sean Rudd. They claimed to be our former youth team player of the same name. Then it turned out it was their actual name as well and people quickly found videos of them practising wrestling and doing renditions of music they liked. It was absolute gold.

If I remember correctly, our former youth team player was one of a few that went off to Southampton, possibly something to do with Malcolm Elias at the time.

Well remembered.
I don't think the message board would get away with that these days.

Disgraceful remarks from Holloway who sounds like a gangster.

Who filled in the team sheet, surely it’s all down to him. Is he saying he didn’t know one of his team was banned for seven game but he forgot so played him, or the player himself didn’t say β€œScouse me gaffer I can’t play because I’m banned”, t**t.

Holloway is saying an Official did the team sheet on an iPad and he/or another member of his coaching staff didn't see it on the iPad before it was submitted. Hence him saying about it should be written down by them first like it used to be.

It seems Clarke was selected because they misunderstood the rules. They thought he could play as with other suspensions from lesser charges, but Clarke's charge was too serious for that.

He’s the manager, surely it’s his job to do the team sheet. It doesn’t matter what is put down on.
I watched a podcast with an ex ref yesterday when he said back in the day the captains used to bring the team sheet in, arsenal were playing forest and tony Adam’s came in with the team sheet in a full arsenal badged suit and when he commented on how smart he was Adam’s responded by saying he was representing the arsenal football club, five minutes later Stuart Pearce came in with the forest team sheet wearing just a jockstrap. 🀣

The official doesn’t pick the team/squad though does he? At some point Holloway did that and communicated it, so the idea he has completely clean hands is nonsense.

I think the Official inputs it now as standard but somebody from Swindon will have been telling him what the team/subs were. It wasn't a spelling mistake by the Official but a completely different person as sub so Swindon have no defence imo, however much Holloway stamps his feet.

That doesn't even consider the highly amusing screw up over playing Clarke.

I see Ray Graydon has just scored for Salford v Swinetown. They must be sick of playing Karl’s lot.
