I wonder why. Jump or pushed?
The CEO leaving just before a landmark decision regarding the stadium planning. Wouldn’t it make sense to hold for a few weeks and then, regardless of the decision announce afterwards? If granted he leaves with a statement like, my work is done, someone else to take the club forward. If not approved he resigns and we all think it’s due to the stadium. Or playing devils advocate maybe he wants to leave now so the latter doesn’t happen.

Reckon it’s all part of a potential review of what’s happened over the last 12 months. It’s probably been the likely outcome for 6-8 weeks. For a role like this, I’d have thought TW would have taken legal advice and there would have been some sort of settlement.

So it was probably kicked off a few weeks ago, and perhaps the agreement has only just been reached.

Whilst the negotiations were ongoing, TW took a back seat, entirely understandable.
I think that might explain why he’s been quiet the last few weeks.

The most interesting point now is, who will his replacement be?

I imagine it would have been sorted a while ago. We saw with the Shorts that it was announced they had left 2 months after they actually had.

As stated this was probably agreed a while ago and some legal negotiations have taken place.

I also wouldn't be surprised if TW already has something in place, maybe in the city financial industry or something along those lines.

Let's see who comes in, given our current ownership and board i worry that another UK based CEO will face the same internal issues.

It's sad to read his last bit. Some people who post on here and social media in general, think it doesn't matter what they write because it's a forum and they should be able to say what they like, without actually thinking about what impact this has on the individuals they are commenting on.

I believe that if you wouldn't say it to someone's face, then don't post it. If you wouldn't write it if you were posting under your real name, then don't don't post it.

On the other, it could be Corporate Timmy being thin-skinned to the last and can’t even be bothered to thank the fans/customers on the way out.

I won’t miss him one little bit. So sorry the job of being a football club CEO is so difficult. Just as an advisory for next time, you might find it easier and find yourself under slightly less scrutiny if you don’t lurch from one calamity of your own making to the next…

We are in complete disarray.
It’s as if the bottom has finally dropped out of the club and it has nothing to do with our relegation.
His departure I believe is long overdue as we have lost a connect between fans and SMT.
Information seems to be withheld as they skate on incredibly thin ice.
I hope that the Triangle isn’t destroying the club from the inside out as it feels as though we are in serious trouble.
