Is it dwelling in the past, or retaining a bit of our club fanbase's culture? If in 30 years' time some fans started referring to a new manager as "Beano" I would definitely expect people to try stamp it out before it settled in.

No disrespect to your time supporting the club - you've been at it far longer than I have! It was merely the case of suggesting perhaps you were a younger fan - given the majority of our fanbase won't remember watching Rambo.

I don't see an issue with calling Aaron Ramsey 'Rambo'. Surely it is no different to singing 'Brannagan is magic' when we also sung it about Kemar Roofe?

Different kettle of fish. Roofe was merely the custodian of the hat at the time, and now Cam is looking after it. One day Cam will go, and someone else will pick it up from the hat rack.

That's another thing to add to the positivity thread : we'll get to see Cam prove his doubters wrong.

Gary Briggs has earned the right through blood, sweat and tears (or at least blood and sweat) to be the club's only Rambo. Any argument and I'll send him round to persuade you of the error of your ways
