The 'world is full of idiots' thread

The world is, unfortunately, full of idiots. Topical example: the guy in charge of coordinating both professional and volunteer rescue drivers in the south west was just on the radio. People have been warned over and over not to make unnecessary journeys. He told of one couple stranded in a drift because the man wanted to 'show his wife the snow', and another couple who took their four kids, for Christ's sake, out to McDonalds and also got stranded on the way. When mildly rebuked by their rescuers for putting lives at risk, neither of them thought they'd done anything wrong and saw it as 'your job' to rescue them.

The world is full of idiots.

Hearing quite a few idiot stories recently. Please add yours here.

Another one tonight on our local news. Siemens are, subject to getting the contracts they want, planning to create 700 skilled jobs building railway rolling stock in the downtrodden town of Goole. This is fantastic news for a community of 19,000.

Guess how some email contributors to the programme commented?

One said (I paraphrase); 'they will probably all go to London and won't benefit Goole.' Witless t**t. The jobs will be in Goole, so what if the trains go to the London Underground, or wherever?

Another said; 'we invented trains, why does a German company have to build them?' Feckless idiot. Siemens is a multinational company and I don't see a British engineering company making the offer.

The world is full of idiots.

If you genuinely like McDonald’s food, you are an idiot.

It’s gak you turn to when time poor and there is nothing else open. The family who got caught in the snow in pursuit of such s**t food deserve to have the misfortune come their way.

People who drive like this. In poor conditions

Idiots who "share" things that are complete B*****s and not the "M62 Manchester" but are in fact Idaho in the US further evidenced by vehicles travelling on the wrong feckin carriageway !!!
I didn’t say it was on the m62. Just the idiots who drive like that. I’ve been on the roads today, and the amount of people unwilling to drop their speed, or maintain a bigger distance is crazy. Nice to be called an idiot for it though cheers

I saw stuff on Facebook from Ireland of people with selfie sticks getting as near as they could to the sea to get "that" shot. The sort of people that the Darwin Awards were made for.

My neighbour for clearing the snow from the path outside their property only. It was barely worth the effort.
