The trouble is hes dammed if he does and dammed if he dont hes getting screamed at for a time scale if he stays silent he gets moaned at so he gives a date which he has been told is achievable as long as there is no changes date passes and he gets moaned at again when in all honesty its not his fault if one of either cdc occ oufc Chiltern lawyers spot something that could potentially financial cripple them or us for years to come
It has to be right you have 4 groups fighting for the best deal for themselves
Well he said last year it should be agreed by Christmas?
You have said that this time table is normal.
I am genuinely surprised that he didn't include a decent contingency in his timescale.
The concern of course is that this makes things too tight.
I totally understand what you have been saying, but being so far out twice in my view isn't a good look.

But he can only say a date that he has been told by the people who are involved and those people cant control what others are doing.

Ok I will leave it there- we disagree.
In my view a CEO has a responsibility to get thd right information and not under deliver time and time again ( and the communication in my view has been poor).
I totally respect your huge contribution in filling the void in information Billy.
I simply don't think that giving information that is wrong at least twice in a row looks good

Quite.

As impatient as we all are it’s better for the long term to get all the important details scrutinised and rubber stamped so as to not cause the club problems further down the line.

Look at Nick Merry, his attention to detail and the desperate desire to sign the first contract put in front of him.

Act in haste, repent in leisure.
100 percent agree.

It needs to be right, not rushed.

“Not preachy,” says the man who pushed a vegan, plant-based policy across OCC.
You absolutely can eat what you want unless it’s in an Oxfordshire County Council building, where personal choice disappeared

I'm generally not a preachy person about property but what is the climate and social impact of owning 2 homes?!

Ah, it’s been some time since I’ve heard Cowspiracy get a mention.

There is without a doubt that animal agriculture does have an impact on climate change and is not always an efficient use of land but that documentary massively overstates it. It’s a polemic that cherry picks evidence to suit an agenda.

There are ways and means of having an effective food system. Going Level 5 vegan isn’t it though. Better crop rotation, allowing fields to recover, vertical farming, eating more sustainable animal products such as venison and mackerel etc.

Anyway, that’s an aside the stadium. Where’s that S104 at?

But the date isn't wrong at the time we can label many things at him but in this case he can only pass on the information as it is at that time. things happen that is beyond his control thats not his fault

Well what we do know is that Middleton doesn’t give a stuff about the young people of Kidlington and the next generation when it comes to sport, health and fitness. The state of Stratfield Brake is testament to that.

‘Friends’ of Stratfield Brake, my a**e.

There's been a mini digger in the triangle the last couple of days. The path outside the gate fenced off.
Not quite sure what that's about. I don't think it's the willow fencing company. 🤷🏻‍♂️
Could be 2 things one being Archaeological Evaluation or Trial Trenching.
It’s essentially a "reconnaissance mission" for the ground. Before a developer can start pouring concrete, they need to make sure they aren't about to accidentally bulldoze a Roman villa or a medieval burial site.

Or as there is a gas main on site they could be working on that

My guess would be gas main as I dont think we could risk any site work with a jr hanging over us and the fact planning hasn't been formally granted

I suppose that FOSB will now claim that there is a Roman villa and a medieval burial site at the triangle!

Regular gas leaks along there, smell of gas at the weekend, expected to see activity this week.
