I replied more importantly need a article about the damming reasons on why the judge refused the jr for balance
His response was to block me

So I posted again saying fosb and Oxford mail made for each other with a picture of my x account saying im blocked

He then unblocked me and replied dont know how that happened(well you do mate its not a slip of the hand) and a link to the story

I've read it its just a rewrite of the last article with a copy and paste of one tiny bit of the club statement

I replied saying appreciate that but its needs to be article on its own right

He basically replied saying he dont need me to tell him how to do his job

I grew up reading Oxford United news written by Jon Murray, it sums up how far the paper has fallen when we now have some young lad kicking off at Oxford United fans on social media when we have the audacity to question why he isn’t writing more about the club’s fight to have a new home rather than worrying about who has gone over to America.

That is the way all Newsquest titles get their articles; scraped from social platforms by bots and fashioned into a semblance of grammatically correct English by AI.

I'm surprised that any forum member thinks that there are actually people working for these titles that go out to interview people, pen a story of local interest or instigate any sort of campaign (good or bad) against local businesses or personalities.

It's all done by software and the software don't empathise with anyone, it's designed to make money.

The thing is though, if you look at the two articles. Article one is all about FoSB and article two is a bit about the oufc statement but also including mostly the same story from article one about FoSB. So very much the om is pro FoSB.
Would have been better with a story similar to article two being published???

I contacted the Oxford Mail privately about this yesterday and I am glad an alternative journalist has written the full piece and not just an expansion of FOSB's statement. I'm not the only one by the look of things and it is shocking that we have to resort to this to get the full story out for the wider community. This should've been a front page story on Monday with the facts and findings published in full. What the OM have done to day is nothing more than a pathetic consolation that's 2 days late and is now old news.

The only plus side is they at least print the letters that matter.
