New Stadium The Triangle - Planning (S106 Agreed)

It’s all so remarkable when you read Middleton’s explanations of why Argenteus closed their retail shops. Lack of control of service charges, rising rents, inflexible landlords, yet OUFC are disingenuous for saying that they need a property so that they can get control of their income streams, have control of the uses of the stadium (eg for women’s football): they should have just tried harder. Well maybe Argenteus should have just tried.

Ian Middleton has such an abysmal understanding of the situation even after almost 5 years of being spoonfed information, it defies belief that he could be in any position of power after demonstrating such a clueless, moronic and biased rhetoric. There's one thing playing dumb, but being completely stupid serves absolutely no benefit to anyone in the community. Just goes to show the tragic thought-process of him and his FOSB cronies. Kidlington deserves so much better that this clown who spends most of his time photographing fruit and veg, and then getting trolled by fake supermarket customer service profiles on Twitter after making comical complaints.

I think if perhaps they hadn't already poured so much money into this project, then they might've been assessing their options by now, and whether or not it was worth carrying on with it.

But you don't become multi billionaires by chucking millions at projects, and then not seeing them through, they would've known the opposition they were gonna come up against with this project, although perhaps they didn't anticipate that this particular opposition would be such an almighty turd refusing to flush though.

But regardless of that, they've poured too much money into this project, to let a small group of weirdos scare them off.
 
It’s also very interesting that Ian hasn’t attacked the much larger science park development. Man is such a weasel without any backbone. Oxford United have proved that we need the land and offer the most green and sustainable standards going forward, whereas Oxford University already owns swathes of it in the county and beyond, and also has the potential to build upwards and expand existing premises. There are also several buildings yet to be occupied and huge deals on the table from overseas conglomerates and governments.

Funny how soy Middleton doesn’t have the balls to challenge any of this like he hid when organised crime was operating through his jurisdiction. Both developments will go through along with the new housing at the back of the Moors and even more in the future. If Ian can’t handle getting triggered at things like this then maybe he should go back to Kent. Not even sure why he’s here in all honesty.
 
And when did we get "gifted" the land? Purchase (presumably at market rate) was the original option, but those horrible councillors who have helped the club at every turn (according to some) actually took the view that retaining ownership of the land for the public good was a far better approach. That steady, annual rental income is going to keep a lot of peoples council tax bill a good deal lower than it might otherwise have risen to...
 
It's incredible that Middleton still thinks we can can remain at the Kassam stadium despite the thousands of documents that prove we cannot and even the bloke who owns the stadium saying we cannot.

There's blinkered and there is this. The ignorance and arrogance is off the charts.

I find it incredible that a so called serious local politician, can expect to earn any credibility with the local population.

The council occ have to by law get best value it wont be a peppercorn rent
