Surely this development will be getting the same level of outrage, scrutiny and campaigning?

EXOq’s own Parameter Plan Maximum Height shows maximum building heights from ground-floor level of up to 18.5m. So on the actual buildings, EXOq is lower than the stadium

But here’s the important catch the EXOq plan says building heights exclude exhaust flues, and flues can be up to 8m above the maximum building heights. That means parts of EXOq could reach around 26.5m if an 18.5m building had an 8m flue.

They hate Oxford United but seem oblivious to any other local developments (and interestingly only seem concerned about the green credentials of the stadium- somewhat bizarrely)

I don’t remember a FoOGC ( Oxford Golf Course) being set up,
I don’t remember the local parish council coming out against it,
I don’t remember the Mail being against it,
I don’t remember a poll being organised to see if the council should oppose it.
I don’t remember any sort of campaign against it

We can probably expect silence from the usual suspects on this one, but I wouldn't put it past them to blame the club at some point; "Our aim has always been to protect the gap, but by granting permission to OUFC to build on green belt, a precedent has been set that we cannot fight".
