If we do have to travel to MK for home games, I for one will be investigating taking legal action against FoSB for undue stress and anxiety caused by their actions in delaying our stadium in the face of massive evidence that we cannot stay at the Kassam Stadium.

Can we not sue them for the travel cost, especially now its 55p a mile? 6,000 fans, 23 games a season, lets say an average of a 100 mile round journey. I make that £7.5 million, McIvor had better put her house on the market, won't bother her about the ground being (not very) near then as she won't be living there.

I presume you're being sarcastic but just in case - no of course they can't be sued, they are following due legal process which they are entitled to do, as frustrating as that might be.

Great for the environment isn't it, driving to Milton Keynes when we could be playing at an eco friendly stadium in Oxfordshire

There's a brief update in today's (ever-excellent) Clarion on house-building at Water Eaton, near(ish) the Triangle:

• Work could start later this year on the 800-home development at Water Eaton. Housebuilder Bellway is working on the site, joining up Cutteslowe and Oxford Parkway station on land owned by Christ Church. £7.7m will go towards building a new primary school, with a £5.9m contribution to secondary education, £6.5m for transport, and £2.2m for sports facilities. Half the homes will be ‘affordable’. A detailed planning application for infrastructure will be submitted in the coming weeks. For Christ Church, Wilf Stephenson said: “Sustainability has been central to the design of this development from the outset. We look forward to seeing a community built here that benefits both the people who live in it and the environment around it.”

There a time frame for filing a jr there a time frame to serve the jr on the council and interested parties but there is no timeframe for when a court/judge will look at it

All I can say is we are in good shape

Is that the site that Methven and co were looking at originally for the new stadium? Or was that to the north of the station?

This is Opposite Jordan Hill Business park or near enough

Methven site was south of the station, on the east of the A34, and immediately above Peartree services and the two hotels there. It's sandwiched between the A34 and the railway line and North Oxford Golf Club.

would lobbying MPs and Steve Reed have any bearing accelerating the Judge/court considering the JR ? - If waiting until late on the last day to apply, then sitting on the sealed envelope for weeks instead of serving it on CDC straight away arent vexatious acts , I dont know what are

Lobbying MPs won’t make a judge pick it up faster. That has to come through the proper court process, usually by CDC/OUFC applying for expedition.
If fosb had such a strong case, you’d think they’d want it heard quickly.

You are more hopeful than me, given we haven't got a spade in the ground and its about 26 months till we need the stadium to be up and running in some form, but I would prefer you to be right.
