No, Aldo; don’t give them the ammunition.
They’ll love it that we are frustrated/angry/upset.
But let the process sort it out. We have the high moral (and legal) ground. Leave FoSB to wallow in their own muck.
 
There are very few people I truly dispise in my life but these absolute horrible, self centred , arrogant , snobs I completely wish every ill fortune to . Its so sad that they are spending so much time trying to kill Oxford United and all the benefits for now and the future residents of Kidlington when they could be doing good for the area.

You’re just a novice, FOSB banned me a few years ago on Facebook and Twitter for asking a few questions. Middleton banned me quite early on too for calling him out on his lies. He did threaten me for libel but that never came to anything. Maybe it is harder for him to find my address in North Wales than it is finding details of Oxfordshire residents 😂

As for today’s latest news. It isn’t a shock, it was expected but by leaving it this late will not go down that well with a judge. As for the things they are claiming are unlawful is laughable. Even Leigh’s Day don’t sound that confident.

Since you are reading this Suzy & Ian, you may think you are delaying things but the club have already factored in the JR to their timescale so all you have done is, yet again, spent £000’s of other people’s money.
 
They love to stick their fingers in their ears. It's classic failing strategy.

The part of the statement I find most odd (partly because it’s on the solicitors site, rather than that FoSB have said it) is “Natural England advised that the evidence as to whether the woodland is ancient was inconclusive and recommended a precautionary approach” and yet that isn’t even remotely close to what NE wrote in their official response on the matter, they didn’t state that it was inconclusive OR recommend a precautionary approach.
 
There's also another massive risk, they've probably not taken into consideration.

They're now all going to be named in the claim.

Let's say, worst case Erick says nah I'm out. The club lose funding, the FL refuse membership because they really want clubs to have a strong future plan.

This would effectively end Oxford United.

In the cases where clubs have been put out of business and lost as community assets, the reality for Victory (planning, calling in debt or other actions) almost always ends up in total and utter reputational destruction, being forced to live under police protection and in most cases bankruptcy from continuous court cases. (Fans, business and others have taken ex-owners to court, especially in the UK)

There's a balance here, they won't want Oxford United to lose fully because being the reason for the closure of a 100 year old community asset will be crippling for those names in the case.

There is absolutely no way they've even considered that. They are far too self centered to even consider the potential consequences of their actions.

Agree with that. They are only interested in their vested interests in the triangle. There is more to this as we know. Got nothing to do with their claims that the trees are ancient to the point that the trees that were so old that troops escaping from Vespasians army hid in them.
 
Not trying to be funny, but fosb, have got national & international news it's every where l look& listen.
Like I've always said never under estimate no one.
I don't trust these sneaky people one little bit..

I think you might be overstating it a bit, it’s just click bait news on the web really plus a bit of local news. It will have no effect on a judges decision though so meaningless.

For them they cannot be seen to admit defeat at this juncture, in some ways they had no choice but to carry on even though it’s a wasted venture, because, to do otherwise would be too much for their ego’s to bare, they need to go down fighting even though we all know it’s vanity and stupidity to carry on.

After this is all over FOSB want to be able to say we tried our best, we went down fighting, we fought to the bitter end.
Even though they failed and lost many months ago, they can’t be seen to admit defeat.

We’re at the stage now where all FOSB has got left is posturing.

Stay calm, rest easy and let the process and the Judge do their thing.
