Amazing news!!

Anything about potential amounts for the upkeep of Stratfield Brake etc as suggested, or will that be included within something else?

This Googles AI interpretation of the Engrossment Draft. Pretty clear explanation of the state of play.

An engrossment draft is the final, official version of a legal document (such as a contract, deed, or will) prepared for signing by the parties involved
. It incorporates all negotiated amendments, is usually printed on high-quality paper, and is ready for execution, often referred to as the "execution copy".
Key Aspects of an Engrossment Draft:
  • Purpose: It represents the final agreement, ready for signing or sealing.
  • Process: It follows the drafting and negotiation stages, where all terms are finalized.
  • Significance: Once a document is engrossed, no further amendments are expected; it is prepared solely for execution.
  • Context: Used commonly in property conveyancing, construction contracts, and final wills.

I'll hedge my bets its done within a week cdc changed the target date last week to the 9th Feb if they knew it would be end of month surely they would of set the target date as march i am just guessing tho

If those timescales are correct, @Billyox when can we hope/expect for spades to be in the ground?

How i work it with a little leeway for any jr delay is add 20 weeks from date of signing and planning granted
So if we say end of Feb like is suggested then mid July
I am only guessing as im not quite sure how long a judge will take to give an answer to any jr
I do expect the club will want to start work straight away after they have the go ahead

It will be tight that’s for sure. Might have to play first few games of the 28/29 season away.

Crikey. Quite some way to go yet, then.

Really depends on how long the build is club have always said 2 years construction experts say 18-24 months if its closer to the 18 months then we should be OK

signing (Year 0): £20,000 (monitoring fee part-payments)

Consolidated OUFC s106
Before Commencement: £441,583 (OCC transport items) + £11,962 (OCC monitoring balance) = £453,545

Before first Occupation: £1,050,000 (Chiltern)

Consolidated OUFC s106
Before first professional match: £3,472,383 (OCC items) + £40,000 (CDC monitoring balance) = £3,512,383

✅ Minimum base total = £5,035,928 (plus indexation, plus legal costs).

“headline” base total could rise to ~£5,477,630 if both uplifts max out (again: before indexation and legal costs).
Considering the total cost is likely to be the wrong side of £200 million, that's not too bad
