Current P&R usage, Saturday afternoon, less than 3 weeks before Xmas.
Surely all spaces are taken???

Oh.

Is that how many spaces are empty at parkway? No car parking nearby apart from the great big empty car park opposite then.

And here the number of spaces before anyone parks

add in 850 space at Eynsham if they ever pull there fingers out

Very under used
Occ will be glad of the income

Less than 200 hundred cars using parkway on a Saturday afternoon before Xmas with free buses laid on, you can make a case that the football stadium will justify the car park being there as it’s just a waste of space on Saturdays otherwise.

Oxfords park and rides capacity is more fun to chat about than the football so far today.

Sorry but I don't believe those spaces no chance.
They've conning people to park at park & ride.
Ive been into parkway today to catch a train there's no way there's 1,365 spaces...

Did you count them?
Don't need to ,can just tell by the empty spaces .
Can you tell me what the capacity of parkway is .
Not the train station carpark .plus isn't Thornhill & Redbridge nearly always near capacity or full at weekends.?? Something never adds up with that oxon travel app..

Why would they lie?

I think they count the spaces at parkway which are currently blocked to stop travelling folk as available. Bit like the club counts the season ticket holders as attending when absent. The WE available spaces have been pretty full on weekdays since they made the bus free.

Yes a lot of the spaces, in the segregated section, all seem to be disabled spaces as well..

Yeah but Vicky Campbell said you can't park there if you are taking part in commercial activities. So that rules out shopping...

Doesn’t she have a legal background? You would think that would stop you from just making up laws in your head that don’t actually exist.

Does this include the car park at the back that is never open last time it was used was for covid there is a coach park back there aswell

So there is extra car parking that could be utilized and make money for the council on match days that normally is not utilised? Seems a bit of a win that it will start bringing in revenue, well for everyone who isn’t a lover of unused car park spaces like those behind the Eynsham park and ride anyway.

Friends of Eynsham Park & Ride leader Suzanne McIvor said "we don't have a problem with football fans so to speak, but the car park remaining unused is the preferable option to stop the scum using said park and ride"
