Great listen.

Where has that time gone? What a day.

Lost a few Oxford Utd scarfs that day as I/we were driving down the now M40 and opened the car windows as it turned warm only to see them fly out the window as we had them flapping/flying out the car window unsecured!!

Listening to that was a bit emotional, especially in our current predicament. I do hope we survive!!

Truth be told my memories of the day are a bit hazy with time.

However I agree with Jerome in the sense that on the whole as fans we were just happy to be there, QPR were favourites, no great expectations. But as soon as we took the lead that all changed and we had something to lose. I was as nervous as hell throughout the whole of the second half, worried that Rangers would get a goal back, but watching the game again ( not unlike the playoff against Bolton) itโ€™s clear we were very comfortable.

Hebberd was deservedly man of the match, that second goal in particular was exceptional, the pick up from his own own half the lung bursting forward run and then a slide rule inch perfect pass to Houghton. What a goal!

I went up on the train from Banbury, I remember we only just got there in time and with my mate and his father in law were stood right at the back in the gods. The train journey back was actually quite subdued, it was as if weโ€™d used up all our emotional energy, a great sense of pride though not just in the win but in the performance.

Pretty sure Jerome farts on 7:31. Have a listen and tell me I'm wrong!

I seem to say this every week but George Elek making absolute copper bottomed sense taking about the need to keep the nucleus of the side (including Bloomfield) for next season. There is no need for an overhaul if we can keep the majority of our permanent players
He comes across a very knowledgeable chap. I saw him before the Wrexham game though, and I think he has his tea black so I do have questions about that.

Itโ€™s always quite refreshing listening to George talk calm sense after reading this forum for too long ๐Ÿคฃ

What a lovely young man.
He comes across as a very nice young man.
Polite and level headed, loved his time with us. Well done to his parents and his club.
Certainly has a bright future ahead of him.
Nice to know that Spurs think very well of our club as well, do they have any other young players coming through?
