Saints are on a run.................all runs come to an end and often in unexpected circumstances............ :)
It will be a sold out noisy away end the fans will be up for it the players will be up for it so why can't we go there and get a result. We've also beaten them already this season ( when we didn't have a head coach)

Pompey are dragged back into it now. Even if they win their two games in hand now they'd still only gain one place in the table. Oh well never mind.

At 3.30 today Leicester were in 19th. By 5pm they were 23rd. At 4.15 Blackburn were 22nd, by 5pm they were 19th. There are a lot of twists and turns left and we're very much amongst it. The pressure is on though.

I was surprised to hear Charlton singing "we are staying up" as if that was ever in doubt? They must be new here, bless em.

Have just watched the ITV highlights and both the red cards for Millwall and Hull were extremely harsh. Millwall were also denied what looked like a penalty - clear foul but it may have been just outside the box. WBA appeared the better team against Hull and would probably have beaten them anyways.

If Leicester defend for the rest of the season like they did against QPR (who hadn't scored in seven hours of football), we will be finishing above them come May.

Definitely - they have 7 wins and 3 draws from their last 10 league games. Add in the two FA Cup wins in that time, one away against PL opposition, and they look currently to be the best side in the championship.
However, they play one of the league's other form sides in Norwich on Wednesday, whereas we have the whole week off to rest and prepare.

QPR lost their last 3 at home. Derby lost their last 3 away.

Hopefully they'll both be extra motivated.

Two games without a win for Watford and Middlesbrough, so they're both due one.

Bristol City in total freefall. That can't last forever.

In Southampton's case, the opposite should apply.
