Even if WBA do (or does?) get a 3 point deduction, it's hard to see them failing to get another 6 points from their remaining games (when they play Watford at home and Wednesday away). That's 52 points.

Blackburn play Leicester, so most likely 52 points as a minimum for them too.

It looks like Charlton could be the only team we have any likelihood of finishing above with anything short of 3 straight wins, but it would be absolutely no surprise to see them pick up another 2 or 3 more points along the way.

While 53 points ought to be enough, that's still touch and go, which is bonkers when you think it matches our points total from last season.

All I ask is that we take it to the wire. Risk Currie. Play a winger on the left. See if we can't do a Daniel at the Den.

If we get sunk, let's not let Wrexham or Wednesday be the ones to do it.

We didn't fight today. Hope we do the last three games. I think the players that are under contract will do, I wouldn't play the loanees/MPH after today .

For the moment all that matters is Tuesdays game, which is also must win for Wrexham so it’s as big as it can get. No point looking beyond that or at results elsewhere, let’s just give that a good go and see where we are after.

Interesting how Gary R has not got a tune out of Leicester. They were dragged into the relegation fight by points deducted but my god have they been rubbish since. Gary is doing to them what he did for us. Sadly an earlier change by us would have been good (hindsight is marvellous). Win against Wrexham gives us a sniff. Shame everyone else is picking up unexpected points

We have to believe that we're not done at all. Obviously, beating Wrexham is a must but I'll be going into it feeling confident given some of our recent home performances and their recent inconsistency. If we can produce a performance with a big bit of Hull and a sprinkling of Watford, there's no reason we can't win.

Beating Wrexham will be tough, but if we do we all need to remember there's a quite likely scenario that sees us going into the final day out of the drop zone either by a point or on goal difference, provided Blackburn don't pick up three points at Bramall Lane.

I also haven't given up on Charlton. There's a good chance, given their next two fixtures, that if we can win our next two we go into the final game level on points with them, but with us ahead on goal difference.

All ifs buts and maybes, but the point is that we have to go into Tuesday not having thrown in the towel and making sure we really bring our A game on the terraces. I really don't think the prospect of survival is as far-fetched as some are making out.
